My buddy, who doesn’t know Shaun, was at Epic having his new 392 Wrangler epicizied this week. He came back and said, ”there was a guy there with a Gladiator on tracks.” I should have known who it was. Good to see there will be no shortage of adventures this winter.
Shaun, you will have way more than a million subscribers. This video and the last solo video you posted was the best cinematic off-roading videos I have ever watched. This has to be one of the best off roading with great cinematography I have ever seen.
Nice tracks ! Also looks like Sasquatch tracks walking down from that bank and around that campsite. Nothing to worry about. Probably came out to see some dude screaming up in a tracked out Hemi Gladiator , a rare sighting !

I know of some dudes here in Oregon/Washington that have two Ram 3500's with snow tracks. They rescue people stuck in the snow. My buddy was rescued by them at a lookout tower near Mt. Hood. Love this stuff! Great job as usual!
My Dad went all out on an Artic Cat 1000 ATV when they came out... he then bought a track kit like this, it was crazy what it would go in! He had a mountain in his back yard, and had the most fun with it! Can't wait to see where and how deep the Gladiator will go!
Snow Amazing! I had some serious pucker going on as you were driving along the drop off side going up. Great Job. I've only ever come down the Burley Hurley in the summer. The views coming down are great. Those views going up and out on the side trail at night are wicked! After tonight's (Dec 4, 2023) atmospheric river in the GVRD the snow up there should be plentiful :)

9:00 Tracks in the snow deform due to sublimation and/or melting so what could have started out as deer tracks can appear as something very large and nearly indistinguishable to the original prints. You'll need to study the length and gait of the tracks to make an estimation of what it is.

I have mine in manual transmission, which I love. Cause not a lot of people now days know how to drive a stick shift. I enjoyed your video very much. Having sledded up the trail you drove trying to get to the cabin, I think it just gets too narrow for the truck! Even with sleds we were threading our way through the trees with sharp inclines and declines. Awesome content seeing it explored in a different way. The bowls beyond are unreal if you get the chance to sled!

9:04 tracks look like moose to me. 15:42 kinda looks more like bear track as they are more square but hard to tell with the video. Bears are gone bye bye but they do come out occasionally contrary to popular belief unless it get real cold and deep snow but we are in Pemberton-Gold Bridge area.
The drive wheels slipping in the tracks is not necessarily a bad thing. The lugs that they are turning the tracks by are rubber and can give way enough to let the wheel slip. You can keep tensioning and tensioning the tracks to get rid of it, but running the tracks too tight just wipes out the bearings, stretches the belt, and causes a bunch of resistance that makes them harder to turn. You have the power to overcome it, but it’s going to eat a lot more fuel. The goal is to run them as loose as possible without having problems with them derailing. I have drive sprockets added into my rear tracks so that I can run them much looser without the slipping problem. Being able to loosen them up a bit makes a huge difference in how easy they roll down the trail
You gotta call it the sneep, all that snow makes me love Alabama more. I have lived in Montana and Alaska and I don’t care if I ever see another flake. Cheers

I work in video production already and love adventuring with my Jeep but as my daily driver, the channel will be geared toward people who want to adventure, but don’t want to risk too much in their daily driver

Or it’s a grizzly bear. Whichever is easier.
Definitely agree with this, as the snow melts the tracks will widen, no way to tell unless extremely well experienced what track that’d be
Could be moose or cattle as well. Definitely did not look like any type of predator track.

I believe they may have originally been based off a LandRover forward control.

Boy oh boy that thing is mean in the snow and I remember when the Hurley WAS a 4WD road back in the late 70's. Now a forestry road.

What tires is the Volvo running? The tracks are cool but that Volvo seemed to do pretty damn well in the snow too!
Duratrac’s, low PSI and portal axels for the win. But the Volvo was starting to struggle in the deep stuff and those tracks made it look effortless.
