It is not considered to be the best idea. With propane heat it’s imperative that you keep your space vented so that there’s no build up of carbon monoxide and plus it creates a good amount of condensation so I try to use it intermittently rather than on a continuous basis
yeah...I'll stick with my Diesel heater. Nice and toasty dry, warm air. air can sleep in single digits in my shorts and t-shirt. 😊. For less than $200. It's just to hard not to use.
Yeah let me just idle my vehicle for 8 hrs while I sleep and sacrifice all of my cargo space all so that I could avoid my 10 minute setup and breakdown. Makes sense.
@ Ignorance is bliss. I did that for 2 years across the whole country and there’s no need to idle for 8 hours. Below freezing you might start the car 3 times if you cover/insulate the windows but I just got a heated blanket that heats up the whole cab on high and lasts the whole night. Remote start would also come in handy. Don’t knock it till you try it is all.
I completely agree, a good sleeping bag, a weighted blanket and an electric blanket and I’m good to go. Of course I have a full size suv so I have much more space than a mid size. Also if it’s really bad, just crack open a couple windows and turn on my buddy heater.
@@leveluplife8585 I actually camped in my vehicle for a few trips before I got a tent and I didn’t think it was bad. Just not nearly as comfortable. Just makes more sense for me this way with the amount of space I had available
no diesel heater, but uses the worst heater for a tent... buddy heater... not to mention the fire risk in a rtt, but needing to vent half the heat out of your tent for potentioal CO poisoning, with no co monitor....... have fun trying to fold that tent up with frozen walls in colder temps.. and needing to change that 1lb bottle every 3hours or so... buddy heaters can be decent.. but only in certain circumstances..
Little to no fire risk if used responsibly. I typically only run it right before bed to heat the tent, and right when I wake up. Automatic shutoff if knocked over and has a built in CO monitor that kicks automatically. I keep a window cracked and it’s fine for me, even in single digit temps like I camped here.
“That muhfu…that GUY…” 😂😂
😂
Loved the video man! Rollers were great. Loved you left in the walk of shame part. Can’t wait for more adventures.

Sucks I couldnt make anything happen while I was out there over the weekend. Maybe another time.
@@bloroxcleach always down to go out again. Shoot me a message!
Is it safe to have a propane heater on overnight I assume the tint isn’t air tight

@@t.o.f.t.s. agreed! I’m sure I’ll be picking one up in the near future. But it isn’t a deal breaker.
I want to join.
Heck yea man! Where are you located?
Goofy rooftenters. You have a heated and insulated suv to sleep in that doesn’t need setup everytime you stop

@@leveluplife8585if you broke just say it lil bro. No reason not to just buy a tent

No wonder you don’t need a heater all that stuff lol.
Hahaha it’s all in the layers 😂
