When we used to do Star wars weekends,we got all the usual suspects,Jeremy Bulloch,David Prowse,Warwick Davis, but I think my favorite was when I got Billy Dee Williams to sign my Book adaptation of Brian's song.
Oderus Urungus Dave Brockie of GWAR and a bunch of the band's current lineup and some doodles from them. Sexecutioner Chuck Varga just sent me a Christmas gift ❤ one of his new Tiki mugs and it had a sweet personalized autograph. Zack Wylde from Black Label Society. Bam Margera, Brandon Novak skateboarders. Made them both custom decks for their collections. A whole bunch of rock and roll stuff. Ari Lehman First Jason. Ari, Zack Wylde, BAM Margera, Brandon Novak and a few others have my art in their home 😂 I tend to go for photos and memories at cons as opposed to autographs buy I have a few from some movie stars I have had the privilege of spending time talking too and they were kind enough to sign up a photo with their thoughts of our meeting. I actually have a fake autograph from Ernest P Warrel, George Bush Sr haha I also had a real Oliver North photo/autograph as a kid...I used it as a dart board 🤣 Not sure WHY he sent me that photo but I will never forget that. I really want COBRA COMMANDER but he has been dodging me for decades...😂 Sorry to ramble
15:36 There is a man that is truly happy in his work. He got to tick off his book and gave him so much joy. Love this channel and the good vibes it brings.
Man, I love every video these guys put out. The trades, Ryan just talking about the finds he loves, weird comic stories. I love when they go to shows, the parking lot hustles. I love when the old rival store owner comes in, when kids come in with their dads. Every video is just super wholesome and chock full of kick ass toys. It gets bonus points for them not being Pawn Stars greedy assholes lol
Every toy collector on the planet: "I need to go to Toy Federation. You can't find this stuff anywhere else." Ryan: "I go to the gas station 100 feet away to buy my rare toys." 🤣
Ry i just wish your videos were 30 minutes or longer. Can't get enough of your content and checking out your inventory in your store. Incredible brother!
Working in a toy store like this would be both a dream and a nightmare. Mostly a nightmare because I wouldn't be able to talk shit about funko pops in front of customers.
I get it I don’t collect them either but…I did have to get the funko special edition (had to preorder through GameStop) aliens siguorney weaver in the loader…I had to get that as an aliens fan👍🏻
Those pull back toys are fun. And they are small enough to have on an office desk. And yup well opened figure cards that you can display are perfect. Best of both worlds.
Beautiful flagg ship!! I need one of those another awesome video guys love the vintage cant wait till summer when I visit my parents and i get to go to your store
I'm hooked on your channel because I'm amazed at your knowledge of all the different lines of toys. Cause it's so interesting to me even though I only collect vintage Star War figures, and that's hard enough to keep straight. Thank you for the entertainment.
When I was a kid, all there was, was rocks. The green army men came along. When my grandmother was a kid all she had was dirt. And she had to walk miles without shoes avoiding dinosaurs 😂❤
I sold my entire GI Joe lot of carded and loose vintage Joes recently was way to much and I took a BIG loss unfortunately.. guys that run the Pittsburgh toy show came down and bought My entire Collection
As a Gi Joe ARAH collector myself I love it when a fellow collector adds another to their personal collection that is needed. I can totally feel the joy come right through the computer screen. Great content. Thank you for sharing.
That last 2mins of that set build is wild. That'd be the coolest thing to have had as a kid. My brother and I would setup all the sets of lincoln logs, trains, and some hot wheels through out the living room.
I have a Jeremy bullock signed boba fett figure as well as a signed picture of him next to his boba fett costume (it’s very cherished) and he has a great signature..the way he does his J is awesome👍🏻
10:36 We had Toys R us in Hialeah which was next to Miami but i still went to Lionel playworld because they had the biggest Gijoe wall of figures ever.
An interesting fact about GIJoe issue one was there are actually far fewer direct edition copies as there are Newsstand copies , Jim Shooter the EIC at marvel has stated he had to send Newstand editions to comic shops at the time because direct editions had such a lower print run they needed newstands to make up for the shortfall in demand, also at this time the ratio of Newstand to Direct was about 70 / 30 as comic shops were still primarily a rare thing in 1982 especially in rural America.
You just showed you in it for the love of the game. What toy guy in his right mind would get a variant comic, go back to the retailer, and demand a copy with text? Giving up the misprint for a common. Love of the game
Funny, I grew up in Miami and still think of Lionel PlayWorld as my favorite toy store. The two I remember were the one on Coral Way and 87 Ave, and the other in Hialeah. Still have several PlayWorld bags actually. I'm 45 years old and still collecting till this day. I drive by the shopping center all the time and imagine that PlayWorld where it once stood.
Another great episode. I call those 12 backs with the figures you showed that were opened Mock Moc's. How would I go about buying from your store if I see something I like? Thanks
Love the store and love the channel. It’s hard to find sincere people like Ryan and everyone that works there. That alone makes Toy Federation more special than any other toy store I’ve been to.
Great vid as always. I cant believe the variations in Joe's, to get them all is a nightmare. The ship at the end is looking a lot smaller now. I had a friend who had 1 when i was a kid and it seemed massive then. We used to have the aerialbots sitting on it and they looked tiny. Keep up the good work. (1 day im coming to your store)
Can’t wait to make that trip from Florida and visit your store. Do I have to let you guys know when I go and trade some toys in? Or just show up? Thanks for the awesome vids!
Always fun to watch your video and telling stories about the toys you have a great knowledge of your toys and it show that beside being a seller you are a passionate about toy collecting. Too many times I met so called seller/collectors who knew nothing except $$$
i dont think I can have the patience to complete the entire gijoe run or the funds lol. it seems stressful. plus there is so many variants like green gloves Copperhead and all the versions of Steel brigade and yellow neck Serpentor.
Nothing is more challenging than seeing a blue collar man who could at this stage be almost a grandfather expecting that big return from toys after making a life of it...and all right under the roof of the ailing mother
@@toyfederation my apologize no disrespect just seeing these men come in selling their collection hoping for a major return after making a life of it... reminds me of the father...
What signature do you have!?
David Prowse Darth Vader signature framed and on the wall. Very nice signature.
I am on the lookout for a Jeremy Bulloch.

Jeremy Bulluch ( original boba fett),
You are right on Jeremy Bullochs autograph. I have one when I met him and his wife. He was a true gent. 👍🏻
As a man without the means to re-own the lost toys of my misspent youth, this channel helps me at least revisit my memories. Thanks!
Work hard safe some money and buy not the most expensive you can dude

My sentiments exactly. I don’t necessarily want to buy all those cherished toys but I’m glad someone is doing it

Yea!
Honestly seeing Ryan go over a bunch of stuff he just thinks is cool is twice as entertaining as the avarage trade, should be a regular segment.

@@BlacksburgEV fair enough, it is all good, I just really liked seeing Ryan as a normal collector for a minute, felt like a nice change of pace.
this is great. No scumbagary, no drunk fools, just a vintage buy-swap-sell toy store. Awesome
scumbagary = new favorite word 😂
@adam_collects lol drunk fools?
I love the USS FLAGG time lapse at the end!

I had to laugh and feel the pain of "Found out there are 3 versions.....and that's a problem!" Also fantastic pickup of the mickey CC.
Very cool to see some of the figures I was lusting after at Retro Toy Con actually come into the store!
Yall need a quick fold out table or 2 for sorting and appraising in the lobby... doing that on the floor has to be getting old lol
