Those boxed NES games are sweet. Might not be the most desirable titles but to see those boxes in such great condition 35+ years later is amazing! That PaperBoy box brings back memories!

Easy to see you surprised him with your generous offer, I figured he was looking for $1500.00 on his high end so a $2000.00 upfront bid almost knocked him over. Even though he was doubling his expected take you could see he was saying good bye to some old childhood loves.

The ones that offer $6 on an item the seller has marked at $10 (knowing it is worth $ 28) and get the deal, then pulls out a wad of money big enough to choke a horse and asks for change erkkks me to no end!

This is a Legit treasure trove of G.I. Joe and NES games. Those original black box NES CIB can bring a big price. Make sure you research the different variations of Black Box NES games (if you haven't already). There are 3 or 4 (I think). Matte seal tab, Gloss seal, hang tab, etc. Great score!

And props for starting fair, especially since he didn't have a precise idea of what he was hoping to get. A lot of people in this game would have tried to low ball. Edit to Add: it was great to see how well he had taken care of his toys, and his genuine love for them. In the toy community, it's not uncommon to hear people talking about having trashed their toys in childhood as if it was unavoidable, so it's nice any time I see people who (like me) treated their toys well. Don't get me wrong, everybody's toys are theirs to play with as they choose, I can just relate to guys like this Seller who's childhood toys survived largely unscathed.
