This is actually the type of person I’m 100% most attracted to; it is an inner beauty and humbleness that completely drives me wild. There are tons of emotions being shown, but not a lot of words. When I date someone who behaves this way, I just want to hug and kiss them because this energy generates the same calmness inside myself that feels warm. We, especially we non-white individuals, are led by our emotions. In USA, most whites communicate with words and zero emotion, and we have adapted to their ways due to the majority of population and following trends. However, most of we non-whites are internally emotional like this and lead with our emotions, and this guy is a perfect reminder of our inner-beauty despite what others think or feel.

My grandpa was exactly like this and it made me mad when people didn’t think he loved well or wasn’t happy. He smiled, he gave money just because, he cooked and picked up groceries just because. He was a kind soul and the chillest person I ever met. When people got mad at him he chuckled. I would rather have that than a hot head 😊

But then I just had to except that’s just who he is…and everything else about him I absolutely loved and out weighed that… BUT #1 I had way more flaws than him and he took me as I was… so why I couldn’t do the same for him!!! TRUST IT WAS A PROCESS… Because I wanted him to be excited because I was excited 😆… but one thing he did do was try to get excited because I was excited… and let me just tell you…. that was so awkward and it was so uncomfortable for me because I tried to make him someone he wasn’t… so either way my poe husband couldn’t win for losing!!! I said to myself one day leave that man alone🤣!!!

A lot of times we do that sort of thing without knowing or thinking about it never understanding or realizing how it makes the woman feel. Bringing it to his attention will help you understand why he does it and bring it to his attention so he knows to maybe change it a little, or you understand why he’s so quiet and then it won’t bother you as much. We deal with a lot of shit that most men don’t know how or even want to talk about which is my biggest issue, sometimes the best thing that’s happened for me was my girl calling me out in a calm and respectful way and just wanting to know why I am the way I am. Because of that I’ve been able to open up more and talk about shit I never thought I would have talked about. I think that saved my relationship honestly. Sorry that’s long but communication is absolutely one of the most important things.
