I mean, Mihrimah had a HAND in Mustafa's demise, but it was largely his own doing. If anything, she's guilty of implication but she'd already convinced herself that Mustafa had to go in order for her brother to take the throne.
The show had a chronic issue with giving the writers' favourite characters this type of blinkered vision. And it's clear that the writers want the audience to side with Mihrimah over Nurbanu. At some point I need to write a meta on the issue of authorial favouritism and the overall detriment it caused to the show.

Hurrem also ruled the empire when Sultan was away on wars, signing important documents on his behalf and receiving diplomats and foreign ambassadors. Also Mirimah was influential until selims reign, after she WILLINGLY retired to the old palace. But anyways, nurbanu exercised great power, as it said she ruled the empire with the grand vizier.
