It’s amazing how Hürrem lives on through this series. Her emerald ring is passed on to all of the most powerful sultanas. Her crown is worn by Kösem. She’s praised by Mihrimah and Safiye. Her son Selim continues the dynasty.

LMAO Selim II was one of the worst Sultans way worse than Ibrahim and her ring's importance is irrelevant frankly for real Hurrem had no knowledge on nothing she wa not an educated woman and she didn't even have a nice voice only her dance skills were good! In tv series they try to praise and give some justify to Hurrem who was hated by people for being a bad Sultana and she was a bad mom too! She didn't win any love either she was just murdering other concubines! Kosem was the real power she had knowledge on battles, on economy, Kosem was very educated and highly intelligent, Kosem was for real one of the most beautiful Sultanas and Blue Mosque exist cause of her and Kosem was a loving mother at least and great dancer and had a smooth sensual voice had been said cause she was singing beautifully too and she didn't kill any woman to stay in power !!!

@@asiminapateraki1680 she didn't kill any woman to stay in power? What about her relationship with Turhan? What about her hand in the execution of Ibrahim? What about the attempt to kill her grandson Mehmeh? Any of these Women were Saints but i admire what they achieve and you should do the same! We are not in their era and we can't really known how they felt so we have nothing to condemn neither Hurrem's actions nor Kosem's actions or anyone else.
And again Hurrem was a really educate girl don't forget that the Harem although it was a residential woman' quaters it was also a school for the future consorts of Sultan so all women who lived in the Harem were educated.

@@hurremsultanas That's how history is. When the history is told we remember their actions not their personalities.
I mean this whole show is a prove of that like huge part of Hürrem's personality here is made up if not all because despite how famous and powerful she was we don't really know much about her as a person, and the little we have is highly unreliable in most cases. True I started liking Nurbanu cuz I saw her try to struggle like Hürrem. But where Bayezid wasn't doing anything. She triggered Selim to attack first. Like in the show there wouldn't have been any wars if not that Nurbanu was using the rift between brothers to instigate Selim to do stupid things. That is in the show. In reality I understand why she had to do that, because of the fratricide law. That law is messed up and in no way part of Islamic teachings.

@@kawsarnaseri3208 y'all are forgetting I'm comparing the sure and real life. Nurbanu was just written poorly, she had a good side, she respected Hürrem. Also in the movie as much as I do not like Nurbanu in the show, she pointed something out to Hürrem, Hürrem met Suleiman when he was a king and had no contenders to the throne. While Nurbanu had to fight so her prince and children would survive because she knew that if any of the princes survived her prince and son will not. Tell me you wouldn't do the same in her shoes. I do not like the Nurbanu on the show but she did what she had to do, yes she was power hungry but after having kids for the sultan she did what she had to do to protect them. Just like Bayezid did what he had to but failed (PS I loved the Bayezid on the show). Bayezid unfortunately did not have a strong Haseki to help him rise. Honestly Nurbanu should be giving credit because in history she was a good person and her relationship with Hürrem And Mihrimah was so good she never became Valide or ruled or fought for it until her son rose to the throne or is it till Mihrimah died. My point it she was only evil to Safiye that I can agree

Read history and shutttt! Hurrem ruled as Valide in history, she was most powerful Ottoman woman!
      👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼
“Hurrem is the Legend even after 600 years, considered as the most powerful Sultana in the Ottoman Empire . She broke the glass ceiling for royal women and started Era of Sultanate of Women. Her story is an inspiring look at how one woman can bring so much influence and change to a leader and an empire, even if husband stands behind you!
Hurrem’s power in the Sultan’s court grew stronger with every passing year. As Navagero wrote in 1553, “there has not been in the Ottoman house a lady that has had more authority.” Her authority showed not only in her firm grip over Suleiman’s heart but also in her ability to compete with the male rivals in Suleiman’s court, and to be a skillful sovereign and ruler. Suleiman the Magnificent repeatedly came to her for counsel and even appointed her as his STATE ADVISOR in foreign affairs, which allowed her to act as a diplomat with foreign powers.
Also, it’s recorded by history that she was official Divan member, attending meetings, voting, listening to males and taking part of the meetings “under the dome”, which is called the Kubbealtı. Only men were doing this before her.
Hurrem also had a seal, that allowed her to correspond to MALE rulers and kings around the world. Before that females of the empire were only allowed to correspond with female rulers (like empress or queen : Russia and England) or princesses. Hurrem acted as a diplomat with foreign powers through her letters using the title of Shah (queen), from the day she became first and only wife of Padisah in Ottoman history. It is seen that his signature is always referred to as " The State of İsmetlu Hürrem Shah Sultan Aliyyetü'ş-Şân".
Hurrem also ruled the empire when Sultan was away on wars, signing important documents on his behalf and receiving diplomats and foreign ambassadors. Hurrem was a keen advisor to Suleiman in political matters, particularly when he was absent from Istanbul on his numerous military campaigns. She regularly sent letters to the Sultan, in which, in addition to expressing her great love and longing for him, she also informed him of the situation in the capital and of any events that required his immediate attention or action. In being thus vigilant, Hurrem protected Suleiman’s interests and contributed to the success of his reign. There is no doubt that Suleiman trusted her more than he did his male advisors.
Hurrem is known to have been very generous to the poor.
Not only did Hurrem Sultan exercise unprecedented influence on state politics as Suleiman’s chief advisor and diplomat with foreign powers, but she was also fully devoted to philanthropy. Hurrem’s charitable work surpassed any of Ottoman women in volume and geographic reach.“

Mihmrimah is called the most influential and powerful for a reason she literally was valide for three sultans till her death she was not called valide bc her son would never have the throne and it would be disrespectful to all of the other valide anyway but she did have the power role and authority. of it and of the harem you do also kno her mosque is bigger than kosems and Hurrem and nurbanu

@@nasss._2995 she was not valide for murads reign. Murad loved his mother, he would let his aunt have more power then nurbanu. Just because Miriam’s was the most powerful princess does not mean she was vailde for murad. Only kosem was valide even though the mother of the sultan (turhan) was alive. Also Mirimah was influential until selims reign, after she WILLINGLY retired to the old palace. But anyways, nurbanu exercised great power, as it said she ruled the empire with the grand vizier.
