JP Buys might have one of the worst chins ever. Dude's a Flyweight and gets dropped, rocked and finished so many times. While you might feel bad for him given the predicament he's in, he should not be fighting in the UFC.

Boston Salmon getting illegally kneed into oblivion was the same event as one of the fighters featured on the DWCS Snubs video posted last November.
JUSTIN "J-TRAIN" GONZALES.
Gonzales won the LFA 145lb belt that night after not getting a contract on S3 E2. He signed with Bellator a few months after the title win and is ranked #8 at 145.
His fight with pick was fantastic ! Shows how talented he is
I distinctly remember that fight between Boston Salmon and Danny Mainus (pronounced my-anus) on AXS TV Fights. Michael Schiavello and Pat Miletich were absolutely RELENTLESS with the puns on commentary! The brief snippet played in this video (probably for copyright reasons, and because Salmon was the subject in the video) barely scratches the surface of how brutal the commentary was about that poor guys unfortunate last name. I think the fight, with commentary, is available on TH-cam, and it's well worth a watch for the immature chuckles.
I also remember that fight for the EXACT SAME REASON! 🤣 Something was said along the lines of “My anus is being brutalized…” and I lost it. I know I’m immature, but I deal with it the best I can

Thanks man. It's probably because I don't try chasing algorithms. I could easily do more casual friendly content, put arrows all over the thumbnails but I don't find that type of content creation satisfying. Why be the 10,000th person to talk about Conor when I can be the first to talk about Big Nog etc.

Show was so much better in season 1 where the contracts actually felt like they had value. They focused more on telling the fighters story before the fight as well

The Contenders Series is just a way to sign kids to contracts worth 2 grand instead of what they deserve.
They will do anything to get their name attached to the ufc.

The UFC is no longer in the fight business…they’re now in the streaming business. There’s a case study on them how they seem to be signing anyone left and right so that they can churn out events on the reg, due to the TV deal they have with Espn.

I think there’s a reason why high schools in the USA would never think about putting mma or boxing as an official school sport idk coming from someone who use to train just drives me insane when people call it a “sport” or “match”
I remember Boston Salmon's debut in the UFC, it left a lot to be seen and just seemed to be unlucky. Unfortunately it was confirmed in his second UFC contest that he had a lot of work to do defensively on the feet.

The Danyelle Wolf case is even more pathetic, she couldn't participate to any Olympics of 2012 or 2016 because "her weight class was not added" boo fu... hoo, she wanted a 152lbs not a 155 where she would have faced ...Clarissa Shields, that's hilarious when you know shes bigger than Clarissa, of course when her "weight class" was added in 2020 (and Clarissa wasn't there anymore) she could not pass the Olympics trials.

1- Vinicius Moreira is his birth name, and the one he went by in the UFC.
2- "Mamute" (the Portuguese word for mammoth) was his fighter nickname. Going by Vinicius Mamute is comparable to Cristiane Justino going by "Cris Cyborg".
3- The Super Fight League used a team structure similar to the IFL, with Moreira representing the Haryana Sultans, hence the team's name appearing on the graphics.

It's crazy how much similarities between mine and that danyelle wolf chick's life, she's from Wrightsville, which is in the county in PA that I'm from, I got friends from there, I lived in San Diego county as well which is where she fights out of apparently lol I trained out there as well. I'm not the same age as her but it did give me a tiny bit of hope knowing that even if I make it to her age, it may not be too late 😂😭😭 no one else from York, pa ever really makes a name or "living" for that matter fr, definitely not a good one lol specially not York city, our murder rate is high and so is our crime & addiction rate. Which I've also contributed 90-95% of my life to as well 🤦🏾♂️ coming up on a yr clean and almost a decade out of trouble. Obviously it's not impossible, just extremely difficult to get out and stay out of this quicksand of south Central Pennsylvania area, so it was definitely dope to see that SOMEONE made my dream into a reality, no matter how low on the totem pole she seems to be. I made it a point to pause the fights, tell my fiancé who was watching with me at the moment, and do my research into her when watching card she fought my baby Norma on 😂😭

How is signing a women's featherweight pointless? They were trying to build the division then, how could they have predicted she just wouldn't fight?
If they were serious about building a weight class they would’ve signed 15-20 women in 2017.

If they were trying to build W145 then normally they would want to sign younger fighters who are early 30s to mid 20s, (ex: Chelsea Chandler and Leah Letson) not a woman who is already worn and torn from boxing and aged at 40. Plus, her performance was quite questionable in her DWCS match.

Wolf was a former boxer who could've (theoretically) drawn some eyes to the 145 division, had she fought. Pointless? No. But it didn't work out like they imagined.
