Or a horse rider. I can do a messy bun but it nowhere near cute. It's more a "practical" bun a sad, out of my face bun! But show day I dare you to find a hair out of place 🤣🤣
What good kids! (I hope their intensives go well!) It's great to see what kind of amazing photography you can get when you use models who know what they're doing in pointe shoes and a photographer who knows how to direct them so well. I love their excitement for the hoodies at the end - I feel like every ballet dancer I know is pumped to get a good, soft hoodie/sweatshirt, lol
What? Models who are actually dancers? Who’d have thunk that you’d get the photos you want if you used actual DANCERS? (I mean, besides, well, everyone.)
I have a very important question for you ms.Josephine. So I have been on pointe for almost a year now. (I got on pointe on July 7th 2020) I first started off with Russian pointe bravas, now I am using capezios. I love capezios because of how comfortable they are on my feet, but I don’t have very flexible arches/ankles. I use a soft shank but they break too easily and if I use a medium shank it’s too difficult to break in my shoes. The vamp also doesn’t come in a v for capezio, so it’s always either holding me back or pushing on my arch very uncomfortably. If I can have any help with what shoes I should wear that would b outstanding! Thank you so much for your time.
Hi! I just wanted to ask if I can or should be able to go en pointe. I’ve done ballet classes before for 1-2 years. Before quitting because my teacher was a jerk. I also currently do modern and traditional Chinese dance and have moderately strong ankles (is it ankles or heels? Just I can do tiptoe good lol) I have been told that I have a good pointe (flexible foot, good arch, etc) and am flexible-ish. Could someone who is knowledgeable in ballet or dances en pointe tell me if I can get fitted? Thanks!
@@aballetgal6788 Thanks! Do you think I could go to a pointe shop instead? Idk how knowledgeable fitters typically are, but I’d definitely trust The Pointe Shop to give me a yes or no.
I am so sick of looking at "beautiful feet". This is just a fashion like "big butts" is in fashion now in the music and fashion industry. I have always heard when girls don't go over the box "It's dangerous they will break their ankles" .Isn't it the truth that less flexible feet are much stronger than flexible feet? And how come when men dance on pointe shoes and are not at all going over the box that there are no comments whatsoever about that they can hurt themselves? The comments are "They are just amazing". I think that classical ballet has become very excluding. Anna Pavlova wouldn't stay a chance nowadays. Is this ok?
the microphone was inside a point shoe (loved that)
"I can't do a messy bun" 😂😂😂 you know you're a dancer when...😂😂😂
but seriously, these girls are so skilled. Congrats ladies!

@@styledbyjess9239 I mean same 😅 I'm neither a dancer or a horseback rider and my buns will never be that "cute messy" just messy.
Could they be any more adorable? I love that they were having fun and just... enjoying what they do.
These girls are great! I'd love to see you bring in some adult dancers or professionals as models too!
That would be amazing!
Edit: And dancers with different body types!

Ooh, Keliah is coming to London. I shall be looking out for her at the Royal Opera House! Always good to know about new dancers.
I love that you clipped the lapel mic to the pointe shoe!
“I hyper-bevel” literally same…. 😂
Oh my gosh, could those two be cuter?! And so gifted! 💜
Such a fun video, Josephine! They are so adorable and obviously very talented.
GERMANY'S NEXT TOPMODEL....THIS IS HOW ITS DONE 😌😍

@@proserpina4448 me too 😶 I was so concerned

Hi! I would not go en pointe without having permission from a ballet teacher first. Maybe find a better studio and then get evaluated?
