Eva, I started ballet at 21, got my 1st pair of pointe shoes at 23, and danced a lead role en pointe this year at 27. You can totally do this. You go girl!!!!!
Were you in classes with other adults if you don't mind me asking? And you just kept going up the levels? I'm trying to get started at 23. Did you have any prior dance experience?

I'm striving for pointe shoes in the next year or so, and I'm 37. I just started ballet a little over two years ago because why not? I'll be very curious to see how my fitting goes because my two feet are a whole size different in street shoes (one's an 8, the other's a 9) and my second toe is longer than my "big toe" on both of my feet. 🤔

Hi Eva. The lady who fitted you was absolutely amazing, all the knowledge she knew about ballet everything really about shoes and feet, too. Well done to you too. 💖💖💖
I remember being a little girl who dreamed of being en pointe. I ended up in gymnastics growing up instead. At 19 now I still have that dream to learn to dance (for fun) and eventually make it to being en pointe. It’s encouraging seeing other adults in the comments getting them later in life. I don’t feel too old :)
I did gymnastics for years and years and then tore my ACL and started ballet after surgery. I was 17 when I started and went en pointe at 18! Now I'm 29 still doing ballet still loving it.
oh my gosh yes!! this is me!! i did ballet when i was really little and started again last year at 15. my goal is to get en pointe next year before i graduate highschool! i loved gymnastics but wasn't very good and ballet is so wonderful.
i’m 19 and i used to do ballet when i was like 5 but i haven’t done it since! i really want to start again but i can’t even find a place near me that does classes for beginners my age 😢

Such an exciting moment. I did this last year at age 49. One of my classmates was even older, 54! Makes a difference having someone fit you who is an expert and knows what they’re doing 🙌 Enjoy Lovely we can’t wait to see your progress now you’re in pointe shoes 🩰
I got my first pointe shoes at 40 for my bday last week(they were on sale for $30 Capezio Donatella)❣️ I plan on hanging them but watching this was very informative and soothing. Jamie should start a channel too
This video is sooo inspiring. I’ve always wanted to do ballet, but thought I would be too late(I’m 21). After seeing this video, I’m motivated to find a local class. I’m so happy for you Eva. When you went on pointe your face just lit up, and I hope I can be in that position one day 🥰🥰
If you see this, do you mind saying when you started ballet classes (or how many years it took for you to go en pointe? I know it’s different for everyone but I’m just curious about your journey)
Congratulations! You were in the best hands… Jamie is a beautiful human being 😻
Tomorrow I’m getting my first pair of pointe shoes with my sister I’m so excited 😆
Yay! Slay. ❤
I took my first dance classes at 15 and quit for years. Watching you is very inspiring.
Congrats on your pointe shoes! This is an aside but the woman who fitted you for your shoes had the most beautiful shaped hands. I’m an illustrator and I could sketch those all day!!
I really liked the fitter, she did you a real solid, and I’m happy for you!
The level of joy in this video lol! Love.
🎉❤ hurrays for pointe shoes! Congratulations!!! ❤️🎉
This is so interesting, especially as I don't dance. You look so good balancing in them Eva... Great job 😍
Hey, will you document your journey of going on point? That would be great to watch. I’m asking because I’m actually also training for going on point again. It’s so exciting.
I’m already in the 40 plus club and recently got fitted for point shoes and I was so excited… I quit point when I was a teenager and came back to ballet during the pandemic. At the moment I’m still working on the basics but my dream is to do a simple choreography one day on point 😊
Eva I started ballet around the age of 5 then was made to quit and restarted again this year at the age of 30…I havnt even gotten to the part in needing point shoes yet. Remember age is just a number. Love your content 🫶🏻
CONGRATS as soon as learned it was for you I screamed I’m so happy for you

Wow, as an adult beginner this is so inspiring!

OMGGG!!! Hi Eva, I’m 13 y/o, and tomorrow I’m going to be fitted for the first time and I was scared but I clicked on your video, you gave me confidence, and now I’m not!!! Thanks for all the inspiration❤.
My first, age 12. What a feeling it was, one of the BEST “firsts” of my life.
congrats! enjoy! I wish that were possible for me too, I’ve always wanted to, but even the best school in town, which also has adult classes, doesn’t have a performance or anything for the adults, it’s just endless stretching and jetes and stuff without any other point than exercise…
Congratulations Eva!! You've come so far and learnt so much!! I hope you have so much fun
I'm so Happy about you !!!! You finally did it 👏 ❤ keep going and I'm sure you're going to be amazing with the point shoes !!!!!!!
