    Amendments:
    In regards to the zipline, you can clip an inclined foundation into a cliff wall, and at softer angles you can actually place a power pole on top of the inclined foundation. Meaning that you can zip up it without worrying about having to jump off and potentially plummeting to your doom, making it much more reliable and safer to use when attempting to traverse cliffs and mountains.
    While using a jetpack, repeatedly tapping the jump button to activate the jetpack can increase your height noticeably higher than just pressing it and holding it once.

    Once you start doing this [jumpsliding] you can never stop.
    This is the most correct thing I have ever heard of Satisfactory in my life. With the exoskeleton I literally cannot stop slide jumping.
    Also ladder meta for accessing heights hell yeah

  • @Xpert85

    One thing was missing in your video: The free standing ladder. You can place a ladder anywhere on the ground and just build upwards. Once you are near the top of your ladder you can build another ladder on your ladder and continue to climb. You can even delete the lower part of your ladder once you're on the upper part which results in a free floating ladder. In the end you just need to delete one section of your ladder to hide your physics defying builds.

    One thing with the Jump Pads that's stupid, frustratingly inconsistent, but my favorite way to travel is that if you sprint-slide into the pad moments before hitting it, they'll yeet you a good distance. Coupled with the zipline, you can pretty much zoom across the base like a cat at 3 A.M. Can work with or without Blade Runners...but why are you not using Blade Runners, and you can soar rather quickly with the Parachute, too, let alone the jetpack.
    As long as Auto-Save doesn't mess you up, grabbing a line with a zip-line (or if you're really a thrill seeker, use a Factory Cart at your common landing spots and spam "E") will give you no damage...landing ontop of a power pole will, though.

    Tapping space repeatedly while using the jetpack can get you more out of the fuel available, even when going straight up. If I remember correctly, it moves you up an extra 8m, or about two foundations

    Something to note about jump pads - if you slide into them (start your slide about half a foundation before the jump pad), you will go FLYING. It’s comparable to a hypertube cannon

    The best movenent trick in early - mid game is ziplines with power towers (range on those are crazy) + parachute.
    It's VERY fast and you got advantage of wherever you go there is power. Game changer. Blade Runner should be first equipment you make.

    You can accomplish a non-damaging slightly weaker pulse boost with the boom box, when slide jumping, press the bass boost with your jump and at the very height of your slide jump you will be blown upwards. It's far easier to press all three at the same time as boom box jumping is quite particular with the timing.
    And if your timing is perfect and the terrain favorable, can turn your horizontal slide jump momentum vertical if you slide jump right at the change between wall and floor. Matched with a boombox jump you can frame perfect climb natural terrain by four or so wall segments. It is not easy, as you need to do a set of three inputs frame perfectly and nearly pixel perfectly, but it is possible.
    (You COULD just use a pulse, but That's Harming FixIt Property and you will be held liable. It's not Satisfactory behavior of it doesn't make you cry. Toughen up and don't go introducing another world ending virus upon the combined conciousness that is the FixIt corporation, thank you for your co-operation.)

    You can mass deconstruct the conveyor belts by highlighting them, doing the slide jump launch, then hitting the delete button while airborne

  • @alphathewolf583
    @alphathewolf583 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    you can midair drop pulse nobelisks to gain bursts of height or momentum multiple times, allowing further distance than a belt launcher if done right.

    one thing you missed - you can stack multiple pulse nobelisks, and if you hit them with a xeno-basher, they will activate all at once. with stacking 4 or 5 or greater this technique is capable of giving a boost comparable to those of hypertube cannons
    also i can’t believe there’s a movement guide for a factory building game. i love satisfactory lol

  • @1Mackinzoid
    @1Mackinzoid ปีที่แล้ว

    Dope video. Ty for this. Some basics I feel you missed:
    The slide jump give more height too, not just speed and distance, so it can be used to get up to places that are seemingly just out of reach.
    You can use those conveyor stackers(stackable conveyor poles? I forget what they are called) as ladders if you dont have ladders unlocked.
    Bring plates and concrete when exploring to build quick bridges and ramps. This helps in the short and long term.

    Using pulse nobelisks to get around is quite a bit more versatile then just putting one at the end of a conveyor. Throughout my first playthrough I would turn 180 mid-air , throw, then immediately detonate a nobelisk to get continuous speed boosts with the jetpack, although once you reach a certain speed its hard to build more. This strategy does have merit over the strategy I use now in that it's easier manage your health, but thats not much of a upside compared to effectively having a portable hypertube cannon. Place a few (or a lot if youre looking to go very far) pulse nobelisks on the ground before hitting them with your xeno-basher to detonate them all at once and gain a massive speed boost.
    Edit: After messing with fireworks for a bit theyre effectively just better pulse nobelisks. Bigger stack size and no self damage, for the incredibly minor downside of not being able to use it against enemies or terrain. Also it looks way cooler

    NOTE: You can improve your speed even more using cars or trains momentums...you can for example be at the top of the train while moving forward and then run, slide and jump.... you will aquire the speed of the train plus an extra speed of the jump ... a lot faster than using tier 5 conveyor
