I am a reinhardt one trick and I think he is really solid rn .Kind of wished 2 firestriker could kill a 250hp target since it is a very slow projectile, easy to avoid, and on a 6 second cooldown so I think it defiantly is fair for him since he has no other ranged threats. His ult cloe spot should one shot as well since it only does 200 damage and can be easily anticipated or stunned.Otherwise he is really good with his charge and 1600 shield. Also kind of wished his hammer could 2 tap a 225 hp mobility squishy but maybe that could be a bit op if you have bad positioning.
Amen on the firestrike buff. We need that. It's frustrating when you land 2 firestrikes at distance and don't get the kill. It might be funny but if his firestrike did more damage at over 15 meters then at least we get some extra value for our accuracy. Maybe 150 damage for a 15+ meter firestrike.
Very good guide. I just think u didnt talk enough about firestrike usage. U only talk about prefight fire strike. U should more often than not try to have 1.5 fire strike as the fight starts. Try to land firestrike on snipers u cant reach, use it onto the flankers midfight when they are busy fighting ur team. But mostly, try to hit backlane through the tank is best. It should be an additionnal tool to control space too far from u
i used to be a reinheardt one trick during orisa meta i quit the game and only came back after reinheardt got buffed i felt extremely rusty glad i found this
This comes from the fact the he doesnt even have a gun. Lol a lot of players feel like if they aren’t killing something they are doing nothing, so they immediately pin or tunnel on swinging and doing damage and get punished
Comprehensive guide although I'm not sure this added much if anything to Cloudy's guide - maybe just structured his thoughts differently. Regardless, good job for putting it together. Must have been a lot of work. Imo swing-firestrike combo should have been emphasized a bit more than just mentioning it in a side sentence for 2 seconds. It's THE single biggest difference-maker in Rein vs Rein matchup if the other player doesn't utilize it.
If you don't play at a rank where people consider grouping up AND playing aggressive (simultaneously), then you will never have a reason to pick Reinhardt over any other tank.

Are you going to remake every guide? that would be so helpful for a lot of people especially if they don't have a main yet
starting with the tanks first, reworking them has been a chore tho
Yea but in the end the quality of these guide are one of the best I've seen. I usually learn a lot from these vids

FR
Im a rein otp i ain't changing
But Rein is way stronger at lower ranks and, in fact, gets worse the higher you climb.
If there's another rein I ain't switching
This is very misguided. Reinhardt is phenomenal in lower ranks. Not only that there are plenty of Reinhardt onetricks in top 500. Don’t give up!
i feel like this is too complicated lmao
it is.
This dudes language is weird. Not really bad tips just I don’t think the concept is being conveyed well
