I like the luxe as well it looks really sleek and cool. It’s crazy how it does so much more RMS. This is literally the only app I’ve ever tested that had that much headroom versus uncertified to RMS burst but regardless for 250 bucks it’s a solid amp as long as you know the power output.
@@HiFiVector I have a d'amore engineering clean d 350.2 does 400 RMS bridged certified and over 1000 RMS dynamic @4 ohms it's only other amp I seen that has that kind head room which is great seems to keep putting our good power even after box rise when playing music
The only sub amp that I've ever had catch fire on me was a soundstream PA5000.1D and the crazy thing was that I didn't even have my system playing everything was off and I looked over at it and saw this puff of smoke come from underneath so I unhooked it as fast as I could seeing as it was getting hot and almost burned my hands picking it up and dropped it in the bed of my truck .. I took that crap back to Fry's and got my money back.... But while it did work it had better SQ then my apmi2000
Didn't expect Soundstream to meet it's ratings (Dynamic). I'll buy it.
Love soundstream i have soundstream gems but wish they would step it up little more!!!
Whoa! Only 50% efficient!
the concept design is amazing the power not so much
It looks good I like the looks

I wish Fry’s was still open 😢 I want to walk into a store today and walk out with a new amp
This new soundstream equipment is not like the old school soundstream.
The new stuff is way louder
@@ianwillmott3408 the old blue reference amps and spl subs were legit in the 90s
Yes they were. Reference class a 10.0 and 5.0 were top of the line amps for that time.
Would have like to see the 4 and 2ohm dynamic to see if the numbers would be closer to the ratings. Maybe they rated it at dynamic
It did do rated at dynamic correct
Dude, I want to see you test the rubicon amps. They'r look like decent amps
I did one of them check out my other videos
I’ll pass. Don’t need that big footprint or gimmick lights. I can get a CT sounds or something else and have piece of mind for that kinda money.
Very nice video. I"m subscribing.
