I also have same model, with sun-roof and automatic. yeah batain kia iskaa engine repair ho jataa hai, kuch forums per mein nay parhaa kay civic ka engine replace hotaa hai Pakistan mein mechanics kay pass tools nahi jo isko repair kar sakain as is mein electronic card use hotey hain.
Not true, nothing to do with lqck of tools. Due to the aluminum alloy type block it becomes not repairable in case of damage to the casing. Nothing else.
We have had overhauled many a such engine in the shop with satisfactory results.

Salam, har gari bhale same model ho lekin repair ka extent individually vary karta hai. Accordingly us pe anne wali lagat ka andaza bhi gari dekh k hi lagaya ja sakta hai. Ap workshop visit karein, apki Gari assess kar k apko guide kardein ge.
Bilkul manual se CVT bhi convert hogaye gi.
