Before you do anything with the shifter box. Get the One that goes into the Exhaust tunnel. Mighty car mods got one for there ek so they dont have to cut up the shifter bezel
I wash my car every Friday & do a through cleaning once a season (just hot water extracted the seats last night), I'd love to have those SMPL CAR CARE cleaning products! Congrats on all the big moves you've been making lately.
I do a clean every Friday night or Saturday. Then a full detail once a month. On my 10th gen. I'm always looking to try new products. Been detailing since 2001. Just found this channel just now. Like what I see so far.
235whp is a pretty high number for a tuned stock K24A2, but I bet 210whp and 8,600rpm is entirely doable! I like this build. It’s going to be simple and it looks like it’s gonna work out really nice. I’ll be staying tuned for this one. For 18-years old, having a mobile detailing business and doing that clean of a job is impressive! Car looks great already.
Did this to one car almost near the end. Also picked up 3 more, one's a big surprise. Can't wait to start sharing the first build. It's so much work great job man.
I got a 2000 Civic Ex Coupe with a freshly built D16Y8 and honestly I'm a B series guy but the reliability, gas efficiency, smoothness and now nice the Vtec sounds when engaged has me wanting to leave it like that. Easy to work on, parts available everywhere, good daily..
Man how did leaves and acorns get in the paneling of the middle console? That was crazy lol. But man I’m always excited to watch SMPL Builds videos and series. Love it and am excited to follow yet another cars transformation journey.
I wish you guys just did it all in one big video. I hate waiting months for 30 part episodes to come out just so I can see the final product. Just save all the parts and money up and do it in one big build video
I always do a full build video at the end in one vid so if you want, you can wait until that goes live and just watch that. Also my last series was only about 6 videos in total
This project makes me excited because my everyday car is also a Civic 99, unfortunately as a Brazilian living in Brazil, everything is much more expensive to repair and maintain here.
i was thinking that for all that to, but 2k for engine and trans and i bet the other stuff you can find cheaper, mounts are whats going to hurt the wallet 6 to 700 bucks, then hondata not cheap either
No hate on products, but soap and water does the same thing as expensive sprays and brushes. Just coat of wax when done and you're good. Warm water and soap and a razor gets stickers easily too.
this is a very good car except for their CVT automatic transmission. swapping to a manual is best option or if you swap an engine that is the same engine viewed here -> 11:10 then there is a much better automatic transmission that can be installed with it.

Will this work for a 94 civic? My plans are making it reliable not really doing it for horsepower.
I'm pumped to see another budget old school honda build! Love that you chose to do a 4 door EK, the sedans rarely get any love.
here in the philippines lots of ek SIR 4 door sedans are being modified and even raced them
@@joshualapuz5386man ano ibig sabihin ng EK?

They are pure shit shifter. Sloppy and take too much space for the exhaust

These rising car prices is really bringing the old cars rebuild back to life !!!
I’d like to see an oem style restoration on one of your projects. Just throwing it out there
Helpful tip: Spay some AP cleaner on car before pressure washing, it will help lift the dirt before you start pressure washing
Love to see these resto’s. Would love to see a 7th gen accord next!!

I’d love to see a collab with you and Regular Car Reviews, where he reviews the car before and after the transformation.

Best Honda era by far... I miss the 90s-early 00s.
My EK hatch was so much fun to throw around.

That ceramic spray seems legit though.
