There are many factors in jam backing tracks. One plan I found which successfully combines these is the Makale jam plan (check it out on google) definately the most incredible info that I have ever seen. Check out this unbelievable resource.
I don't know what I like the most, the track itself or the jam you make at the beggining of each video. I love your style mate, you really influence me with those short nuggets.

But don't make it too critical, or you'll never achieve happiness as a musician. If you were too self-critical of whatever you might have to say, you'd never utter a word. It's one thing to work earnestly to improve speed, technique, etc., but you might look at how in a performance, you're really only trying to communicate with the listeners, and you will find ways to say things to them. Not all of those things call for mad skills. They're only expressions, and are centered around communication. You are bringing a piece of your soul to the heart of a listener's emotional awareness. The only difference between soloing and singing is that your vocal cords now come in a package of six.....

i cant wait until i can play like you did at the beginning, I can play around with b minor and pentatonic but no matter how i play i always feel like im just playing a scale, havent really figured out how to turn it into music yet
