It is so wonderful you are sharing this music. I am always in pain and most of it can take my mind off the pain. I tend to get the best relief with there is a steady sound that is almost like white noise but much more pleasant. The other part is a feeling of being rocked back and forth with the music without actually moving. Blues, classical, modern jazz that isn't too high pitched. I actually get the best reaction with the video sounds overlaid with the music. I think I can feel the meaning of the music as intended when written so music made with a purpose other than fame, fortune and greed really speaks to the Wiccan in me. The conveyance of emotions helps pull it all together. I have thanked Thomas many times now for what has become one of my goto channels on days like today. My pain was full bodied and I have been laying in a dark room all day. When I finally gave into the fact that no medication will give me relief...I came here.
If I had money, I would patreon you guys. I don't but I do the next best thing, I share, thumb, subscribe, bell and enjoy the videos and music. Thanks again.

Just played a lil concert in my studio for an audience of one:) it was pretty cool because of the dynamics of this awesome track, love the way it crescendos and then softens to a level that can open the guitar player to improvise nicely. Love this track! Thanks Artmant!

The book "Hendrix: Setting the Record Straight" explains that Jimi Hendrix came up with this song in New York City in a friend's apartment decorated in red, which somewhat inspired his mood during writing of this song.
The early version of this song was called "Travelin' to California" and Jimi Hendrix recorded it live twice with Curtis Knight and the Squires in 1965 and 1966.
Producer Chas Chandler recalled about a recording session which took place at the CBS Studios in London on Tuesday, the 13th of December 1966, "The 'Red House' on the album came about during the last fifteen minutes of session. Noel even played rhythm guitar on the track, playing the bass line. Jimi just winged through one take for reference and we started rolling."
Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top said, that he was "completely turned upside down" when he heard this song because of Hendrix's guitar work on it.
This song was featured on the "City Of Angels" (1998) film soundtrack.

Eeeeh does someone else find that both the minor and major work? I can almost play any note and it works. Guess that's the magic of blues.
neoDarkSquall they seem to all be dominant seventh chords so yes… Major and minor will both work....and thanks to Blue's we can play minor all over dominant and major chords....just don't try to do the opposite… Sounds horrible
