I’ve owned many Klipsch Heritage models over the years. I’ve learned all of them go to another level when good subwoofers are paired. LaScalas with RELs are simply amazing
Hi from Toronto, will you be getting in the new Arendal in for review.I think they are the 1528.Love to see a comparison between them and the new Svs Ultra Pinnacles.Love your video's.
After years of searching, I indeed ended up with the Cornwall's. Everything you say aboit them is correct. Except i think they're very beautifulll. With the grille on 😉. Great review, tnx!
Thats crazy how much of a difference but would you think if the svs evolution and the Klipsch rf 7iii would be a good comparison. Like to hear your thoughts on that. Im leaning on getting one of those.
Im currently playing with a pair of Crites Cornscalas that are on loan from a friend. They have the Lascala top end horns w the Cornwall bass. They are pretty good but I find that you need to listen at higher levels for them to sound their best. At low levels they tend to lose micro detail and some lower mid and bass info. It’s not my amp or pre as I’m using an Audio Research tube pre and Krell Evo 302e amplifier. When you turn up the volume a bit they really come alive
Sounds like a mismatch of efficiency. Try putting a resister inline to the driver that is dominant (too loud) at low levels. That said; it frankly sounds like a bad combo. BTW, now an Avantgarde owner, we've owned LaScalas and were not impressed (always driven by premium tube amps (Audio Note, David Berning, Art Audio, etc)); they lack bass below 50 hz and have poor transparency.
Play a 32 hertz tone through th e Klipsch Corns and the Forte4s. The Forte reach 85db with ease in medium rooms @ 32hz and have a bit authority, not so on the Corns. They are down at least 6db @32hz given the same power. Some claim to have measured a 10db drop. Goes without saying the reason you get the Corns is bass, several sound tests have shown this- ie the Paducah video.
I own a pair of some RP 80000f and rf 7 III and sound truly amazing paired with my Marantz sr 8015. I like the highs on those cornwalls and the bass is something you can feel in the chest but the svs towers not so much, I guess if you would pair it with one of there subs then you would be better off but some audiophiles hate adding subs on there setup when you want that true 2 channel stereo output.
I owned a pair of Cornwall 4s for about a year, I didn't grow fond of them and traded them in. I can't recommend Klipsh products, there are many other speakers out there with great base and with better build. One should audition the Cornwalls before you buy.
Klipschs sound good until you hear the same system driving modern speakers. The improvements of modern speakers is immediately apparent. ALL Klipschs (including their big K-Horns) have no base lower than 50 hz and none have the clean presentation of modern designs. Crites mods help but only so much.
@@KrS247 imports my man. Everyone needs to make there 20% ontop of that they carry the risk and warrantee so if you do it yourself that falls on you🤷♂️
When a person says “I Think” or “In My Opinion”you then have a conversation. But when you say “It Is Trash” you lose credibility and it sounds like you’re simply anger about something. Klipsch sales over 70 years speaks for itself.
@@homecinemaking397 they are. Most audio equipment sales are down with the exception of low price manufacturers. The big Covid audio bump is definitely over. Even brands like PS Audio just had a big sale trying to recover sales. I’ve never seen Klipsch Heritage on manufacture sale. Even when the sales dropped during the Home Theater Years of the 90s and early 2000s.
I've got the SVS Ultra towers (previous generation to the evolutions)and love the base and highs but felt the middle base was weak. It sounds like a trend from SVS strong highs strong base and the mids are adequate, not great. Don't get me wrong, I love the Ultras and would miss the base, but I do miss great middle base. Great review!!

Please tell me why no “reviewer” is or will mention the fact that due to this odd new design the SVS towers simply will not age well as these cabinets will swell, split and even fail for a number of reasons mostly environmental as in humidity and or moisture affecting the joins and causing the cabinets to swell and split in relatively short times I.e. possibly within a year of purchasing them, the design is inherently flawed in this way and YES time will expose this sooner than later.
oh of course you sell them so how dare anyone have doubts about their structural integrity given once again the odd cabinet angles, modern mass production standards and modern quality control standards, even if the cabinets begin to age badly into their third year of ownership then hey I guess that’s great because they will be well and truly out of warranty and as you sell them then no longer your problem huh, please do excuse my lack of faith in the “product” but given my own hands on experience with both build quality and having spent big money and having the product fail as I say, time will tell with this particular design and sooner than later given my skepticism which is born of “hands on” experience also.
I suspect your own bias has crept in here fella, as you say, “you sell good ole svs” so of course you will attempt to trash a brand such as Klipsch who has a large range of historically well made and very well received truly Hi Fi speakers and NO I am no brand snob, if Klipsch produce a lemon I will happily say so but given your angst towards my previous comments I would say that your bias towards the svs brand that you sell and attempting to spruke that brand no matter what (I.e. attempting to disparage a far better true Hi Fi model over svs) is clearly evident, please refer my previous comment last response to yourself to understand your own weak point mr salesman, the gentleman doing the review in this video makes a great a true point, if a “salesman” disparages or dismisses another brand off hand without backing that statement up then that particular “salesman” is absolutely full of it and yes you should walk away.
