alternative pov, because I can...
I think Suzuki is severely underrated
minus the lack of an electric start issue
the Suzuki is a perfectly fine base and worked just fine for Roczen, up until his freak incident
but not only that, it might be an advantage
most bikes develop and change, this sounds good, but these changes aren't always better, just variations to see what works and what doesn't. The downside to this is the rider constantly has to readapt to new behaviour from the bike, increasing likelihood for crash and injury, lowering confidence and speed
depending on style and how young a rider is, this may be fine
for someone who is older and just wants a consistent platform that will never change, this is a huge benefit
if he gets comfortable with how a Suzuki feels, he doesn't have the anxiety of next year's model deleting his muscle memory
and since Suzuki is not really invested like the other manufacturers, he may not have to worry about them forcing him to use specific components that he doesn't like
he can use whatever shocks, forks, brakes, clutch he wants
no drama
^ assuming this is true...
we know the Suzuki can win, Roczen has proven it
and with development, Suzuki is a perfect home for older riders that want a consistent balanced bike capable of winning without the pressure of a Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, KTM tent
and a lot of riders went stupid fast on Suzuki in the past
James arguably looked his best on a Suzuki when he was on
RC too
Dungey too
Rocen as well when he dominated outdoors, 2016?
just don't crash lol the kickstarted is a championship ender
but no offence to Nichols I don't see him competing for championship in 450's
he will be fine
wtf is this typing. use sentences and punctuations
@@LiveFreeMoto okay
Here is an alternative point of view, because I can. I think Suzuki is severely underrated, minus the lack of an electric start issue. The Suzuki is a perfectly fine base and worked just fine for Roczen, up until his freak incident, but not only that, it might be an advantage! Most bikes develop and change, this sounds good, but these changes aren't always better, just variations to see what works and what doesn't. The downside to this is the rider constantly has to re-adapt to new behaviour from the bike, increasing likelihood for crash and injury, lowering both confidence and speed. Depending on style and how young a rider is, this may be fine, for someone who is older and just wants a consistent platform that will never change, this is a huge benefit. If he gets comfortable with how a Suzuki feels, he doesn't have the anxiety of next year's model deleting his muscle memory, and since Suzuki is not really invested like the other manufacturers, he may not have to worry about them forcing him to use specific components that he doesn't like. He can use whatever shocks, forks, brakes, clutch he wants. Zero drama, assuming this is true. We know the Suzuki can win, Roczen has proven it, and with development, Suzuki is a perfect home for older riders that want a consistent balanced bike capable of winning without the pressure of a Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, KTM tent, and a lot of riders went stupid fast on Suzuki in the past. James arguably looked his best on a Suzuki when he was on. RC too, Dungey too, Roczen as well when he dominated outdoors, in 2016 I believe? Just don't crash or the kickstarter may end all championship hopes, although no offence to Nichols, I don't see him competing for championship in 450's. In conclusion, I think he will be just fine. Their 250 bike might be another story though, I wouldn't bet on it being very competitive given how HP dependent that class is. With 450's, bikes are already too powerful, so having a balanced comfortable bike means a lot more. Just highlighting some benefits to Suzuki since some of the hate they get seems unwarranted.
it makes it even less likely im going to read through the scroll fest you left. just like triple replying when you could hav put them in one single reply.
@@snowzZzZz fixed it for you :
Here's an alternative point of view on Suzuki bikes, often underrated except for the lack of an electric start. The Suzuki is a solid base, proven effective by Roczen until his unfortunate incident. This could even be an advantage. While other bikes constantly evolve, requiring riders to adapt to new behaviors, Suzuki remains consistent. This stability can reduce crashes and injuries, boosting both confidence and speed. For older riders seeking a reliable platform, this is a significant benefit.
Riders who are comfortable with Suzuki’s feel don’t face the anxiety of new models altering their muscle memory. Since Suzuki isn't as invested as other manufacturers, riders can choose their preferred components-shocks, forks, brakes, clutch-without pressure to use specific parts. Roczen has shown that Suzuki can win, making it an ideal choice for older riders seeking a consistent, balanced bike capable of winning without the high pressure of competing brands.
Historically, many riders, including James, RC, Dungey, and Roczen, have performed exceptionally well on Suzuki. The only major drawback is the kickstarter, which can be a setback in the event of a crash.
In conclusion, Suzuki offers numerous benefits, especially in the 450 class where balance and comfort matter more than raw power. Their 250 bike might not be as competitive due to its HP dependency, but for the 450's, a balanced, comfortable bike is key. Despite the criticism, Suzuki deserves recognition for these advantages.
@@martinaune thank you
Beta doesn’t have good enough representation for us to know how good the bike is yet
would still rather ride a new bike thats just going to keep being developed to a bike that is the same as the last 20 years
and back to the 2005 suzuki
sounds like it
when you're supposed to be the #1 rider and get out preformed every week doesn't look very good
yeah hasn't done much out of the 250s
he didnt look comfy on that beta and going to suzuki might be a better idea.
just don't know why you wouldn't want to be on a bike thats only going to get developed to be better than one that doesn't get changed
@@LiveFreeMoto even though the beta is factory and is gonna keep improving why not race a bike that already has been around for a long time and has been developed? just saying.
because it stopped being developed like 20 years ago. and again factory team
@@LiveFreeMoto fair point, i guess the beta is also gonna pay better.
id rather stick with the factory squad thats bike is only going to get better. than move back to the suzuki that hasn't been updated in 10 years
yeah weird choice to me
Weird how Kenny Roczen can be competitive on a Suzuki. Granted it’s not a Honda… but it’s not an antique.
