- Goliath hotend, VZhextrudort extruder, .4 standard nozzle.
305C ABS(that's what it wanted, so that's what I gave it)
600mms, 30K acceleration, 30SCV internal, external wall 12KA, 20SCV.
.015PA, 50% CPAP fan all but bridges @20% cooling.
Annex cube, 175%, sunk into the build plate so I can get to the bridge quicker and test rest of model without printing the whole thing.
Working on a quality profile and trying to get more out of Super Slicer.
I was playing with bridging and my CHT is not doing good bridges! Changed to .4 standard and all is well. Fouled CHT? Or back-pressure causing curl?
Bridges seemed to work well at 150-200mms @ 15K acceleration, 60-70% density ,100% flow, and 20-30% fan. Still a work in progress.
Top skin I tried to do 45° and it didn't turn out so well for this model. I had also increased line density for top skin, which was a mistake. The joys of tuning.
Wondered why my infill flow was so high when the rest of the print, same speed, had less flow.. That "combine infill every X layers" got me! Perhaps I can do it again with combine at 1 and reduce the # of top layers.
Always something.. Make no mistake, this print is solid and not much fan needed!
Impressive stuff. Have you noted what the volumetric extrusion rate is with the 0.4mm?
Depends on so much! I did a test with 85+mms3/ABS and some temp. But I am seeing a flow cap of 70 seems to be OK for periodic and 70 sustained at 300C ABS. But different filament does different things.
