How to build client relationships

- Clients are the reason why businesses exist. If there’s no customer, there’s no business.
I have always encouraged my team members to remember that it’s the customer pays our salary, not the boss.
In this video, I explain what we did at our business to bring our own clients together, how the movement grew, and how it deepened our client relationships.
When I set up the Center for Creative Thinking, we built up a set of over 20 clients in the first 18 months. I knew we needed to build deep relationships with these clients, and so my colleagues and I brainstormed ways to excite our clients and build those deeper relationships.
We looked at ways we could build deeper client relationships, be part of our customers’ journeys, and stay on top of their changing needs and their competitors’ moves.
In the words of Harvey Mackay: “No business can stay in business without customers. How you treat - or mistreat - them determines how long your doors stay open.”
So take a moment to pause & ponder:

► Is there a startup somewhere waiting to challenge my customer?
