Good overview. I've been looking for a 3/4 helmet for a few months and I'm between the j-cruise 3 and the Schurberth M1 Pro. The M1 Pro looks to be getting discontinued... so I'm leaning to the Shoei now.
Thanks for this. I’d been waiting for the J Cruise 3 for months, as I wanted to upgrade my excellent, but slightly old J Cruise 1, but having watched your review, I don’t think I’ll bother. The new model looks pretty much identical to what I’ve already got🤔
You're welcome. Fair do's, really. However, it is always good to check how old your helmet is. They do have an expiry date of course and you might not be buying a revolutionary helmet, but it is a freshly fitting one with the new safety standards.
Tough question! It depends on your personal taste, really. They're both great helmets, both handmade in Japan. The Shoei has a sun visor whereas the Arai does not. The fit is also a bit different. Both great choices, though!
