This half hour special on PBS deals with the topic of Corporate Bullying. Included are defintions, types of bullying, ways to prevent being bullied, the difference between being a victim and a target.
This issue is occuring in EVERY organization, company, non-profit, city, state and country. If your organization doesn't create processes to stop it....it will NOT stop!

Thank you so much or this. I'm currently being aggressively bullied. I found another job and I was going to leave silently. But I noticed another colleague being victimized by the same nasty bully. Today I wrote an email to the bully's supervisor. But I'll take it a step further and speak to other victims and perhaps our collective voice will be heard and things can change. Thank you for your work.

I left my first corporate job recently, I worked there for 3 years. I have no more savings. No money to live off and pay the bills or we are homeless. Unfortunately I'm stuck looking desperately for another job. Nobody wants me, and the only jobs available are 12-14hr jobs in warehouse or call center, never touching those jobs. I just can't take it or I just wouldn't want to live anymore. I'm just stressed and anxious 24/7. I have a chronic illness which makes everything harder. Nobody cares. I've tried everything possible to make money, even stupid things. I run multiple online businesses, have multiple TH-cam Channels, I spent all my savings on trying to become a voice actor, which was my passion and the most i've made in a year is $30. I worked so freaking hard, even during my full time job all I did was grind outside of my job. I can't do this anymore, how do people live like this. My whole family thinks i'm a disgrace as I left a good paying job, but it was super toxic and stressful. Constant deadlines, daily meetings and managers making you stay unpaid overtime. I'm only 23. I can't do this for another 40+ years. I wish I knew what to do... I'm burned out too, all I do is voice acting for free and I'm too busy nowadays to even take on small paid jobs. Just sick of this bullshit society.

More often than not these people have narcissistic personality disorder, they can either be overt or covert, covert being the higher functioning narcissist. This condition can be seen on a CAT scan, the part of the brain that controls empathy and remorse is not active meaning they basically have no conscience and this condition can not be improved it actually gets worse with therapy because they will use what they learn and n therapy to further their skills at manipulation. These new generations have a much higher number of narcissists than past generations due to how they are being raised. It develops due to child hood neglect or entitlement

They don’t always need a request of a man to do it. They are driven by insecurity inadequacy & jealousy. We also teach people how to treat us. I don’t put up with that crap. I used to, but no more! No time in the short life to deal with that.

I was bullied, demoted, degraded, even allowed a maintenance worker, change the lock on my office door, then disconnected my phone in the office, where I was moved away from group. I was left out of manditory training class and I called Nashville, Central, even called Governor office, and told the office assistant. I even recorded a co worker, our made Supervisor, giving me a Bad report evale, and informed me it was Reporting guy in our Dept. who was and had been carrying a Machine Gun in his SUV, and was allowed to leave work early, sign out for entire Day, when he bought this stand for Gun in SUV I freak, as it caused Trama, and I wrote up and sent to 5 Disciplines. # weeks later I was called in office for Employees afraid of me and my Guns, and gave me a Write up. I made copies of every Discipline I sent it to. You see my email/ password had been suspended. I was made to Retire after 32 years, at 52. Well we all know what the Hope was for my End. For 3 years every class i would request form to submit to School, the following week/s My Work hours would be Changed and even daily my work duties, by Psychowho I trained to write Individual Treatment plans . They even had Housekeepers follow behind me, not to Clean or do floors, at a Hospital, for 2 years every Unit I went and would do this all day Long. I went to H.R. with No result. My daughter had a baby, and living at home and would not get up with. The maintenance guy , allowed him to keep Sexually harass me, then told the Program Director I was losing my mind, but I had a print off sent to e mail with the State, and with his picture, but the Director would not even look at, and tried and did write me up. Yes alot of Collusion going on even multiple departments. Oh, my ex husband before he died informed me My boss Now the Program Director had been hitting on him and I at that time did not believe him. He got A promotion to Work in Nashville. He is very close to our local elected.. Then one day a Man showed up at my Neighbors house, that Scared my Neighbor so Bad, her husband put in an expensive Security system. 3 months later prior to my exit, found it was a New Maintinance Worker from description of him and his Vehicle, one day intro duced himself and asked, to talk,..... and he never spoke of coming to my house, or My Neighbors. He moved here coming out of Hell's Angels. I have kept every schedule every recorded Message and every picture reflecting my Truth and Story. I was denied across the Board raises 2 times in several years, and denied over time and they covered it by having a 3 way system of Signing in and turning in to Central office. retired in 2013. I was often followed from work or they seem to Show up where i ate, shopped, just drive, which I realized that was not Coincidence. They even denied me bereavement pay for my ex husband death and I and my daughter her (dad) drove out of State . That is on Record and told I was divorced from him.

The thing to realize in the workplace (if not in daily life as well) is that the person at fault is the one receiving the treatment, not the person delivering it. It's on that person to put a stop to it, there are no limits on what the other person can or will do. It's like if I sell you a junk product it's not on me, it's on you for being stupid enough to buy it. If you get this in your head it all makes sense the way things work now. It's on you to make it stop. No one is going to stand up for you but yourself.
