@@JimmyAL I kinda copied your fleet, but I don't have Kazagumo (she's lvl 99) I replaced her with Unzen and I used SB2C on Amagi cause I only have one Tenrai and it's on my Shinano. Well it helps clears faster, from 3 fights to now 2. Still huge thanks.
@@ggwpez6781 Sadly Kazagumo is doing a lot more of the damage than it shows. Jimmy probably knows a lot more about the damage calc than I do but assuming I am in the ballpark with my numbers Kazagumo technically helped deal a total ~268,005 damage if you count the damage she gave Shinano and Amagi as hers. Imagine if there were 3 cv's. There is a reason she is rated so high on his tier list. I would highly advise her for any fleet with 2+ good cv's. Most people wont be able to consistently one shot Metas without a bunch of +13 equipment and or extreme luck anyway, which is very much a years down the line of playing kinda thing. The big goal is 2 fights for now and you got that. 👏👏 Also, a slight optimization would be giving the Tenrai to Amagi's slot 1 since she has better efficiency in her first slot and AVI vs. Shinano's second slot efficiency and AVI. Not gonna make or break your runs but it is something to think about if you are trying to eek out a bit more damage. Take note of how many planes get launched for each slot as well for slot optimization, info for that is on the wiki. The specific planes he is using is mainly for getting another airstrike out but luckily your swap to the helldiver still works since it has a lower cd than the Tenrai. Notice his extra airstrike he got with 4 sec left, the extra strike will usually always be better than running "better" planes like the Ryusei + catapults over the Saiun + beacon he is using. Doing this is very niche though and should only be used if you know you could get another airstrike and they actually hit otherwise you are nerfing yourself.
