  • Restore a mirror like shine to your paint!
    Are you unsure of which compound or polish to use with each polishing pad? Stay tuned as Nick breaks down each product and how they fall into place in the paint correction process. Poor washing, drying and polishing techniques caused by an inexperienced detailer can lead to unsightly scratches, swirls and holograms which require machine polishing to remove.
    Not sure which polishing compound you need to get the job done? With the V-Line Sampler, professional and enthusiast detailers have access to heavy compounds for removing deep defects like scratches and swirl marks, and lighter polishes to restore pure reflection and glossy depth for unbelievably-shiny paint. Test the heavier V32 and V34 compounds on deep scratches, intense swirl marks, and oxidation to remove severe damage and restore reflection to the paint. After compounding, or when dealing with lighter swirl marks on a newer car, test out V36 and V38 to refine the gloss, shine, and clarity of the painted finish. Always try a test spot before use.
    No matter how good a machine cuts, what’s the point if it’s not comfortable to work with? TORQ engineers gave extra attention to making this machine a pleasure to work with. The 15DA has less vibration than competitors and no rattle, making the all-new machine a fatigueless experience. With the TORQ 15DA, cutting and polishing your car becomes less stressful and more enjoyable experience for all levels of detailers.

      Hey Brad! It depends on the product used and the amount of paint correction. Typically you can polish multiple panels before the pad starts to lose efficiency. It's always a good idea to have a spare pad so you don't have to stop during the polishing job.

    • @ChemicalGuys
      @ChemicalGuys  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Juan! Thanks so much for your message. The pad and chemical combination is what is actually refining the clear coat, the polisher provides consistent results and thoroughly diminishes compound/polish when using the higher speed settings. On a lower speed setting with a finishing pad, you can apply coats of glaze, sealant, and wax without cutting the paint.
