- We all know that black paint is one of the most difficult colors to keep swirl-free and shining. Black cars show swirls and scratches like no other color. That’s why Black Light produces thick, slick, and rich foam that lasts through an entire car wash. The super high suds wash uses advanced synthetic lubricants, hyper-surfactants, and gloss enhancers to emulsify dirt, separate it from the surface, and gently guide it away for a scratch-free shine. If left untreated, black paintwork fades, oxidizes, and shows scratches like no other color. Black Light protects and enhances black paint to give it back a sinister glowing reflection. The intense gloss enhancers and micro-refined oils in this glaze fill minor swirls and scratches, reducing their visibility, allowing the surface to better reflects light and glow with a dark mirror-like shine.

I wouldn’t use v7 after the wax.
Order should be glaze seal wax.
As per the video you can just do blacklight then V7 for what is likely to be more than satisfactory results.
Topping with wax means you would then want a spray wax rather than spray sealent for maintenance washes (unless of course you fancy adding more butter wet after each wash really hold onto the effects of blacklight.)

Absolutely! After polishing apply Black Light Glaze and then JetSeal.

Clean slate, iron remover, clay, a good rinae. Then start your polishing with your new machine and enjoy.

We recommend applying HydroSlick after you have polished your vehicle. After you finish applying it, allow 2-3 hours for it to cure before layering it with a wax, sealant, or glaze.

Depends on paint condition. I would recommend at least a light polish after any clay work. Then blacklight + another LSP to prolong your good work.

Hey Harry! Black Light will mask minor imperfections, add gloss and enhance depth however it provides limited protection. Enhance shine while adding durable protection with a coat of sealant and/or wax.
Best way to hand wash it is buy more wash mitts (I use 4) use once on each side and don’t have to use the two bucket method..
And also use a leaf blower no microfiber rag drying

Can I use glaze like a wax on top of everything. Right now I have two coats of jet seal and then I put glaze on top whenever I want it to look really good. Is this ok?

I get my products from Chemical Girls instead. The products nag all the dirt off the car. Scratch free.

Run your fingers across the horizontal panels of the vehicle (hood, roof, trunk), if it feels rough or gritty...yes, clay first to avoid marring etc
Good prep will always yield best results, if it feels as though it needs claying then it will be worth it for a better result and application process in the long run.

There are probably better products to top a ceramic coated car with. Usually the ceramic coating manufacture will have something more suitable.
Not that you cant of course! Experimenting is part of detailing, i would of thought it may hinder more than improve the coating though.

Absolutely!
NO! Do not use anything like this on top of your ceramic coating. Using this will alter the coatings hydrophobic properties.... the only thing you should be using on your coating is the recommended detail sprays the brand recommends to boost the shine and water beading behaviors.
Can you use that blacklight gel in sunlight or naw?
Hi! It is best to apply coatings in a cool area out of direct sunlight to allow proper bonding time.

Tommy Barnes blacklight then the wax.
Glaze / seal / wax tends to be main rule of thumb.
Since blacklight is sort of a hybrid glaze than contains some sealant properties you apply that first and lock in that goodness with the wax part.
Then inbetween washes keep the wax ‘topped up’ with a spray wax to maintain the blacklight goodness below.
When things start to fade away. Start again with blacklight and then wax up again.
It should be mandatory for black car owners to watch this at delivery. However the lack of THIS knowledge, keeps detailer businesses boomin.
