Stock chassis on the ranger? I have a ls swap ranger myself
Cab forward is all stock frame rails.
@DownForMobbing my brother had to notch the frame rail up front because it had barely any room for the manifolds but I wanted to swap those with cheap ls s10 headers.
I have never heard of anyone using RTV on exhaust. I dont think it is made to withstand the heat of that application. Good luck, I hope it works for you.
Hahaha trust me... it's made for exhaust. It even says it on the package. We use the same stuff on all the Baja 1000 winning cars at my work. Thanks for your comment.
Wow good to know! Can you use. This with the usual medal gasket for a ls flange exhaust?
@@r3d1911 We only use the blue RTV. Paper and metal gaskets always seem to fail. If you apply the blue RTV right, it will last!
I'm currently doing a ls swap 00 ranger what motor mounts did you use? Datsun dirty dingo? Also do they make those headers in a full length... Found you ls swap ranger channel here just now.
Thanks for checking out my channel! I am using James Way Off-Road motor mounts on the motor side and made my own for the frame side. Ruff Stuff makes some mounts that would probably work too. www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/LSMOUNT.html

Which headers would I use on my 93 ranger if I put a 5.3l in it from a 03 Tahoe or suburban I thin. The stock ones don’t fit on the driver side. So I need to get different ones.

What part number did you use for the universal joint?
