Mark Wahlberg was a rapper at one time way before becoming an actor. His older brother Donny was in a boy group also and is now an actor mostly on tv in "Blue Bloods".
29:43 is reference to Ted Kennedy younger brother of President JFK where he drove off an embankment, into a body of water, where the girl he was with died.
@@ptthatswhatshesaid there was a lot of controversy about how long it took to report, alcohol and other stuff, The Island was called Chappaquiddick if you look that up you can see what it was all about /Cheers
I had rolled on the floor when he calls Steven Tyler a "soccer-mom-lookin' Goonie monster." Only a very special comedic mind would come up with a line like that.
@@jessieball6195 true, movie was way more hahaha. But it was movie, tv-series are totally different genre. And Ted series was perfect prequel to those movies. But thats me... 🙂
Really, the series was actually good, Im a bit surprised to be honest, was kinda thinking it would be a straight cashgrabs kinda thing 🤔 Thank you for letting us know
Hello Daniel & Lucy!😊 That is just crazy! Nobody has tried to steal Tom Brady's sperm, this year, yet!😄 The actor that plays the fertility doctor also does "State Farm Insurance" commercials here in the U.S. His voice is well known. They were talking about Senator Ted Kennedy and the Chappaquiddick incident when they mentioned a Ted and a bridge. There are 3 actors tied to Star trek here. The cameo by the actress that plays the adoption agent (Nana Visitor) was in the Start Trek TV series "Deep Space Nine". Patrick Stewart is the narrator again. He Is Captain Picard from "Star Trek: The Next Generation". Oh course the actor that plays Worf on Star Trek dresses up like him at the Comic-Con. I do agree the first film is funnier. You just have to unplug your brain and enjoy the film. Great reactions to this entertaining Boston comedy, Guys!!!!🎬👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Another movie made by the same guy (who also stars in the film) is worth checking out if you have the time - "A Million Ways To Die In The West". It also has a great cast.
I was going to comment the same. I know so many people that have never even heard of the movie. Certainly not fit for the whole family, but hilarious for the adults. lol
The random jokes in these two films is basically a staple of the Family Guy cartoon created by Seth MacFarlane. They call them cutaway jokes. Anywho, you should check out "A Million Ways to Die in the West" directed and starred by the voice of Ted here, Seth MacFarlane. It also has a good deal of cameos, including one Lucy may enjoy a lot, though it's more of an actual role. A comedy Western, how could you go wrong with that!!??
Allegedly they are planning on rebooting The Naked Gun franchise and Liam Neeson is sposed to be the new Frank Drebin (if they don't invent a new character for him, maybe Leslie's son)
Being aware that you probably didn't get the joke at the Comic Con that Ted and John's friend Guy and his boyfriend Rick were both wearing the costumes of characters they actually had played in the past. Guy was wearing the costume of his character in the TV show " The Tick",which (he was the tick). And Michael Dorn who played Rick is known for playing Worf on the TV show Star Trek: The next Generation was wearing the uniform he wore in the show
@ yeah but there is one it just started like just last year or the year before and it’s funny as hell I guarantee you guys it will be a worth of your time and day just go watch it. It’s on Peacock right now there’s only like seven or eight episodes of it on season one it’s great and fabulous and fantastic Watch it because it’s bringing comedy back for what it used to be
Yeah, based on things I’ve heard, it sounds like what this movie portrayed is essentially what SNL is like nowadays. Tasteless and often spiteful sociopolitical jokes, uninspired current-event gags, and flat-out dumb stuff that just screams “we did a crapload of drugs when we thought of this.” Seems to be the gist of the entertainment industry these days, frankly. Ugh. I miss when people were actually clever-like, when it was relatively common. It’s so rare now, all things considered. When you think about the sheer amount of people who *try* to be funny and/or profound, yeah, genuine wit and wisdom are exceedingly rare. (And that’s a large part of the issue: *Trying* to be funny is a fantastic way to create the exact opposite effect. I’m by no means the funniest guy in any given room-though I have my moments-but I do have a pretty strong understanding of what typically does and doesn’t work for comedy. Forced material stinks every single time-and that tends to apply to virtually all genres of entertainment.)
Agreed, forced comedy is really not enjoyable 😬 I can enjoy a failed drama and have fun. But bad comedy is just painful! Can't say much about SNL since I don't watch it though

Oh, had no worries idea Donnie had also been involved in music

Really messed up!!

@ 😂😂😂 yeah
The friend who dressed as the tick actually played the tick and his boyfriend who was Worf the Klingon actually played Worf on Star Trek TNG

(Such nerds!! 😂)
Arizona State has a reputation of being a party school, so Ted was basically saying "No wonder we lost, you didn't go to a real school."
Oooh, I see xD
I had rolled on the floor when he calls Steven Tyler a "soccer-mom-lookin' Goonie monster." Only a very special comedic mind would come up with a line like that.
The Ted TV show on Peacock is hilarious! Check that out too! John was a teenager during the time. It features 7 episodes in the first season
Surprisingly, that series was actually good. So good that just month ago bought it on dvd 👍
@@DVDhoarder I agree, it was much better than what I thought it would be.
I couldn't make it past the first episode-not very funny (as compared to the first movie).

Patrick Stewart also voices a character in American Dad, which is a Seth MacFarlane cartoon

Marky mark and the funky bunch. He was a singer/rapper.
If you enjoy comedy and Liam Nielson the creator of ted made a funny film called 'A million ways to die in the west'.
It wasn't just Liam. There were so many cameos.
Please watch The Sting (1973). 😃👍
Thank you for the recommendation, I have heard of that one
Bravo.
Mark Wahlberg was marky mark
Singer in 1991
20:34 That was not the joke...
I prefer the first one, but this one is very good
Are you guys going to do reaction to the TV show?

30:16 someone knows humor. SNL stinks
This is not funnier than the first-in fact, I would argue (strongly) that this sequel is pretty weak (especially the jokes) compared to the first.
The story itself is not really comparable
Please react to the Selena movie next
😅😅😅😅
Snl went wayyyy downhill
