i did some tinkering years ago for a project and did the whole 'broken ice' thing where you set a sheet of clear resin then shatter it and use the parts. But i wanted more of a permafrost look so i experimented and i added some ....1 or 2 mm snow flock into the resin and it added some frosty opacity to the thing BUT it knackered the reflective nature of the resin so...... i mounted it on some aluminium foil that i think i gave a thin sheen of blue and green inks to make it look less metal and it all looked great after i was done! i might remake it actually now im writing this i wanna make it again.....im gonna make it again...
But then they’d have to contend with the ever possible anger of the fish community and the insane costs of even a small tank. lol it would be fun though, I love aquascaping videos.
I've always thought Jazza could do an ice man sculpture out of resin might be to hard to do but even errors like cloudyness and bubbles could be good effects
what's up with the audio tracks? sometimes it's Jazza only on the left channel and her (sorry forgot name 😬) on the right channel and when cutting from scene to scene they change it back to mono channel.. I do prefer mono channel because it gets the talking more clear.
Seeing those models and bases I think if you want to play with them you absolutely should create a underwater board. Maybe even a cross between water and a ship... So many possibilities!
Okay, these are hands down the best transitions ever xD Jazza is getting increasingly more demanding with these things and the editors are clearly just doing whatever they want xD And yes, we need more underwater stuff! I'd love to see a whole under water board to place these on, with a little thicker depth to see more of the stuff, and some shallower areas as well.
I'm surprised at how detailed and realistic y'all can make resin water look with just a fre steps! I've heard and seen horror stories with resin, but it always ends up so crisp here!!
Hats off to you Jen, I just.painted the idhekin warband, and those are some crazy detailed models. I don't envy painting an army of them...(worth it for the crab tho) 😁
I think using this to its full potential would involve having deep enough water that its completely transparent with things in the water below, maybe only kelp instead of having shallow seabed beneath.
Oh my goodness, Jen was giving me flashbacks to an entire summer with my mother and the creepy sweetness of Regis and Cathy Lee each morning. I am so thankful for therapy.
Sweet jezus! Those bases look epic! Thanks for plugging Gamer's Grass, apparently there is a hobby store not too far away from where I live that sells their products, guess I'll be paying them a visit soon!
I love the Water Resin models of beta fish and sea horse. If you guys have an Etsy shop I would gladly buy both of them for my art room to brighten things up, see you on your next video. :)
I've always been a fan of the deep abyss and merfolk from MTG and I think a hybrid of deep sea creatures with the jagged cliffs and edges would be cool! Mix your pirate idea with the story of a deep sea rooted treasure that went into the trenches beyond the sirens. Many thought the sirens were just luring people in but it was a warning that was not heeded a deeper call from the trenches trumped their siren sounds and the pirates met a murky end for glory :D
Fantastic video, but a word of advice/warning on silicone. From my understanding, when it comes into contact with latex its curing process is impacted and it produces a sticky tacky result. The info was provided to me by a teacher a few years back (though some of their other info has been shown false recently, so I'm questioning this too), resulting in me not using latex whenever I'm making a mould or casting a silicone mask etc.
Yet another awesome video. Never gonna give you up Never gonna let you down Never gonna run around and desert you Never gonna make you cry Never gonna say goodbye Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you Gottem
Sorry, I'm guess I'm missing how you get the extra height. When you put the base back in, isn't it to the top of the mold? How do you get the extra depth to put resin in?
Hey guys, great video as always. Also, I have a question. Do you guys do commisions? Cause I am not in a situation to purchase a 3D printer, but I absolutely adore a lot of the minis in the Loot Studios subscription. I'd be willing to pay for literally everything used to print, paint, and ship the minis, plus whatever extra you feel is appropriate to make a profit. And if the answer is no, I totally get it. Commisions would limited your freedom to create videos however you want and I totally understand.
The technique is super solid however the effect just isn't sold for me. It's tough to sell competitive show piece ideas without out going full blown which for table top is just not a great idea due to lost detail looking that far away. Idk I think jazza and his mini team do well for the most part but bite off huge effects and just don't finish selling the effect. A fish isn't going to jump out of water that shallow, make it at least a half inch pour and I think you nailed it
This. This is exactly what i was thinking. Look really good, but the plants and other items don’t make sense when the fish is jumping out of the water right next to them.
3:48, Did you just call moss “this weird spongy stuff I found”? 👀 I just- What? Maybe I have a skewed perspective, but I don’t think I’ve ever know someone who didn’t know what moss was until now. (Edit:) Wait, but later moss IS mentioned by name… (Please don’t take this as any sort of criticism by the way. People don’t often get to control what they do and don’t know/have experience with. I was just very surprised, is all.)
The droplets on the fins turned out amazing. Gonna have to give this a try.
Yep, that looks "watery" enough. Great job! Now I wonder when we will get our Captain Nemo journey on TTT roleplay session ...

It is cool to see Jen trying out new techniques and tricks with these type of textures! It turned out so good!
any and all videos with jen in it is a delight 😊
The fish is probably my favorite miniature I've seen on TTT great job keep doing what you do it make a difference
Yay it’s always nice when jazza intros the videos but would have been nice to see jazza reaction to the results!
I really want to see you guys get a studio fish tank and try aquascaping and sculpting your own decor for the fisj!
*fish
@@vidhoard you know you can edit and fix your comment right?
But then they’d have to contend with the ever possible anger of the fish community and the insane costs of even a small tank. lol it would be fun though, I love aquascaping videos.
That sounds like it would be more for the main channel.
That’s something I’ve always wanted to do, but I get nervous that something might leach into the water.
I've always thought Jazza could do an ice man sculpture out of resin might be to hard to do but even errors like cloudyness and bubbles could be good effects
Love the idea of water board
an underwater battle scene would be so cool! I thought the wave texture paint was very effective, Jen made these look so cool!
what's up with the audio tracks? sometimes it's Jazza only on the left channel and her (sorry forgot name 😬) on the right channel and when cutting from scene to scene they change it back to mono channel.. I do prefer mono channel because it gets the talking more clear.
The red and yellow fish looks amazing.
The white, rough water really sets it off.
Wow guys they turned out so good!
Seeing those models and bases I think if you want to play with them you absolutely should create a underwater board. Maybe even a cross between water and a ship... So many possibilities!
yes to an underwater board & game
Would LOVE to see more water based projects!!!!
The stand of the fish came out incredible! Awesome work!
a whole 'underwater' table with coral and like, a shipwreck would be amazing
The transitions in this video were so slick. 😂
Also, YES to underwater board!
I love the videos with Jen!! I also loved the minis! LOL

Wow, those bases look absolutely stunning. Well done!

Wow- these turned out nothing short but amazing. Well done!
ohhh an underwater board would be so cool
I would love to see an underwater gaming board.
Wow wow wow wow! This is fantastic work.
Would love to see an underwater board
GORGEOUS! Definitely gets the certified stamp of Dope Sick Nasty!
Wow, these turned out fantastic!
I'm surprised at how detailed and realistic y'all can make resin water look with just a fre steps! I've heard and seen horror stories with resin, but it always ends up so crisp here!!
Nice video, both figures look fantastic but my favorite was the orange one, nice work and thanks for the video.
Man jazza never fails to put a smile on my face lol
This turned out incredible 👏. Nice one 👍 👌
That's awesome. Great basing really makes those models pop!
Hats off to you Jen, I just.painted the idhekin warband, and those are some crazy detailed models. I don't envy painting an army of them...(worth it for the crab tho) 😁
I really want to use this with red resin to make pools of blood for my World Eaters. Thanks for the idea!
Thank you!! Love guides like this!
My god jenn great work its look epic (: love your team guys (:
Great job Jen they look amazing
Absolutely amazing.
Epic work Jen and where did Jazza go was waiting to see him go mad for them.
The resin looked awesome
Absolutely stunning work Jen! 😍
I think using this to its full potential would involve having deep enough water that its completely transparent with things in the water below, maybe only kelp instead of having shallow seabed beneath.
Love this!!! I can't wait to try this!
These bases are amazing...good work Jenn!
wow! Those bases and models are insane! Great job. I especially like the fish lady one with all the waves and splashes
Oh my goodness, Jen was giving me flashbacks to an entire summer with my mother and the creepy sweetness of Regis and Cathy Lee each morning. I am so thankful for therapy.

moisture is the essence of wetness

Love the energy!
so bang so good and absolutely fantastic
"I told you to bring your latex" -JAZZA 2022
Poor Jenn, 2:28 the fear in her eyes looks very real, LOL.
These look so good
Lovely video, lovely results. I'd love to see more
would love to know how you made the silicone mold
Jen has such good hair.
Fantastic video, but a word of advice/warning on silicone. From my understanding, when it comes into contact with latex its curing process is impacted and it produces a sticky tacky result. I wouldn’t paint the bases jet black. I’d use a mid-tone brown or a little darker. Something along the lines of what you used for the sand.
Hey Jaza, I’d love to see you make a video on you converting that space marine you 3D sculpted into a space bear character.
hello ! i want to know what did you use to make the white effect and to color the uv resin ?
Beautiful 😍
If you like the idea of an underwater game, check out Deepwars from Antimatter games.
Every single uv resin in existence yellows over time, it might be 12 months, it might take 5 years, but they all will. Just something to plan for
Gamers Grass is poggers.
Jazza " I told you to bring your latex " It was at this moment Jazza realised that Jen had misunderstood the assignment...
Is gamers grass stocked in the usa or does it have to be shipped from Europe
I’ve seen it in my FLGS here in Canada, but you might only find their full range online.

Imagine working for a man who will only tell you "bring your latex"... xD 0:20
ayo was painting a deepkin as i clicked on

Ah yes, i love when giant fish leap out of a foot of water 😂
I think they are awesomely suggestive of what she’s going for, but I understand what you mean.
This. This is exactly what i was thinking. Look really good, but the plants and other items don’t make sense when the fish is jumping out of the water right next to them.
I smoke a lot of that “Gamers Grass”
interesting
"Sponsored by gamers grass" sounds like weed for gamers
Colas with Evan and katelyn
well good stuf darn do not have a bad or good exsues to do this but if did well will not look as good as this see as post new
i kinda feel the white highlights on the water dont look that great
gees nice audio
You "bought" 2 different sizes from him? I'm confused lol
