A little tip. Feel free to ignore, using tamiya clear colours would be super easy to do the colour on the glass without losing any glossiness or saturation.
Love the way the shield turned out, looks awesome. And as someone who is a big fan of trick weapons, I would love to see more. Missed the show over the last week, glad you guys are back.
I played in the, “Death Wars,” largest simultaneous DND game event in the world. The villains were themed on the Seven Deadly Sins and made of different shades of stained glass. It’s a gorgeous aesthetic.
Really cool shields. They turned out very nicely. A potentical modification could be to make the pistol part of the shield. Gun shields were actually quite a common thing in the renaissance with records of them being included in many city and naval armoury inventories. Additionally there is a surviving wheelock repeater, which uses a revolving chamber and metallic cartidges from the renaissance. It was some rich guy's toy, a marvel of the gun maker's craft at the time and utterly impossible to make on a large scale. But it did exist and could be made with that level of tech. So you could definitely borrow more heavily from that early design language.
should have made cherubs with loading sticks and ammo bag to relot the muskit pistol. and put the guns on the spears for the trick weapon criteria. still look great though
These are so cool! Jenn, I can't wait to see your girls completed and tearing into Dave's Chaos Guard. The shield is beautiful, even if it seems like a pain in the bum.
That NMM is looking... pretty damn good, honestly. I don't normally like NMM, what are you doing to me? Desperately want to see full squads of the Sisters of the Old blood. You could make the sacrosancts Maces into Tonitrus, or their Halberds into the Hunter Axe. For chainswords, make a chain version of the Saw Cleaver/Spear, Eviscerators could be Whirligig Saws! Also you should make a Canoness with a Blessed Blade and make it like Ludwigs Holy Moonlight Blade, Clear resin stained with blues and greens and teals and cyan, do some OSL on the model for the guiding moonlight!
If you redesign the gun to be more Bloodborne-esque, you can try a multi-barrel design like a pepper box. Bloodborne has the Gatling Gun and the Repeating Pistol, so multi-barrel weapons fits the aesthetic.
I debated doing stained glass shields for a little while but i was going to use the shrinky dink type of platic lmao, draw and colour out the plastic then heat and shrink it down and use that as the shield.
For the guns behind the shield it might be an idea to integrate them into the shield, like the flame thrower or canon shield from Elden ring, but less extreme. They could work as the struts for the windows (non native English speaker so don't know the right word). Or like organ pipes.
So to make your revolver a more effective weapon instead of putting a loading gate put a “pivot point” on the forward lower frame (example: Webley Mk VI .455 calibre break-top service revolver). Now how the weapon gets reloaded is the top portion of the frame, barrel and cylinder raise from the hammer to allow the empty cylinder to be removed and a new loaded cylinder inserted 6 rounds reloaded. So the cylinders can be carried in maybe a bandolero.
So kind of a dumb question to be asking on this video but, i have a friend whos really into 40k and dnd, so i showed him kill team and although he really likes it, he said it feels like theres no true victory at the end of a campaign and he went on to describe how dnd has basically big bads, so basically he wants a final boss. So im making said boss. My friend plays iron warriors so ive chosen an aquilon terminator to be the big “bad” but i need help balancing him. Keep in note that i want him to be kinda like an elden ring boss, extremely difficult but still possible. Anyways this is the current datasheet i have for him Aquilon terminator M-4(2) = 8 inches Apl - 4 Ga-1 Df-3 Sv-2+ W- 26 Weapons Twin adarathic destructor - A,2 - bs,2+ - D,7/8 - rng 6 - fusiblade - AP2 - MW2 Solerite power talon - A,5 - ws,2+ - D,8/9 - AP3 - lethal 4+ - MW1 Abilities - From golden light [2cp], once per turning point, if this model is not within engagement range of enemy operatives, you can remove it from the battlefield and redeploy it within 9” of an enemy operative
Been looking into getting a 3D printer recently, but mainly because the push-fit models GW brings out have a bit of an accessibility problem, and their mono-pose units makes me think the user creativity is halted to such a point I might as well just 3D print fully 'build' models instead. Now I had a question, as my mind still remembers mostly the early days of 3D printing; is there still a lot of stuff like sanding that needs to be done to get smooth prints, or do newer printers not have such struggles anymore? Main thing I want to use the printer for would be to print fully build models of units that only have push-fit kits out there, and for things such as basing bits/kitbash pieces such as the shield/trickweapon you made today.
Looks cool and well made... but from a logical / lore perspective it doesnt really make sense, like... how would stained glass be a good protective barrier against anything?
Uhhhh, except I literally designed and made the object. In software, you know, the same as games workshop designers do before it's cast in plastic and you paint it
A little tip. Feel free to ignore, using tamiya clear colours would be super easy to do the colour on the glass without losing any glossiness or saturation.
I literally grabbed my hair and whispered "no waaaaay" when I saw the reveal of the stained glass paint. Hats off to the technique on display.
Love the paint jobs on your Sisters army, they are so beautiful.
The shield is beautiful and the paint job on the model is amazing! My terrain is gonna have so much stained glass now!
I HAVE WANTED TO DO STAINED GLASS SHIELDS SINCE 2018! I AM SO HAPPY TO SEE SOMEONE HAS DONE IT!

Jen “It’s Sunny”
Enters Heaven
That paint job is so top tier
The triple circles on the shields is very Nurgly and seems appropriate for a Bloodborne Sister army with blood corruption and mutation.
Woah! That stained glass is seriously impressive - well done Jen :)
Love the way the shield turned out, looks awesome. And as someone who is a big fan of trick weapons, I would love to see more. Missed the show over the last week, glad you guys are back.

I have missed tabletop time this week, great to see you’re back
The level of skill in creating the shields here is impressive. As a sisters player with a good 3d printer, id love a kit for these
Thankyou! Was a lot of fun
Editing after i saw your reply. I have a sisters army and a 3d printer. If these ever end up as a purchasable stl file, i would pick them up for sure.

This turned out even cooler then I could have ever imagined!
Even if I couldn't print this myself, I would pay to have someone else print this and just send me the bits, cause this is incredible.

Walking with a full window into battle is so 40k. Love the army!
These are so cool! Jenn, I can't wait to see your girls completed and tearing into Dave's Chaos Guard.

That stained glass shield is awesome.
Excellent job Jen. The NMM is sweet. The shield is pretty badass also.
That is awesome and the tips for cleaning clear resin is a good one to remember
The shield is so cool! And in such a scale, holy ravioli!
Admech is a good source for weapon ideas that could mix the scifi and baroque styles.
YES. This is so beautiful! I love Jen's sisters faction so much.
And heck yeah! Parts kit would be awesome.
Looks amazing, so unique and I love the final look of the shield, truly fits the vibe of your army
That shield is SO extra, great work!
Looks amazing. Great work. i wish the glass would be actually slightly see through. Maybe using thinner paint ? I dont know. But i love the idea
Another Sisters video With Jen! Yes!!
Honestly I love all the custom Army's you guys do!
This turned out gorgeous!
Try for a magazine-fed wheelock. Mechanically it wouldn't make sense, but esthetically it would be perfect.
Edit: pommeled grips too.
Those sheilds are amazing!
Jenn your NMM is looking better than ever! That shield turned out great too!!
oh wow that shield is stunning !
Lovely work. The shield is cool. Would love to see some closer shots of it to see some more detail.
Woo!! Yes! Can’t wait to see more of your armies!
one of these shields would be amazing on the new sisters character coming out later this year! you know the one with the flaming fleur de lys sword.
Looks amazing, great job 👍
Really cool, love the concept.
Again I’m proposing the idea of a canniness based of Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower.
That looks fantastic guys awesome work!
Flintlock of 1597 and Colt 5 shot 1831, blood chalices as beacons / objective markers.

Absolutely gorgeous model! ❤😊❤
Great idea, great execution!
i could be wrong , but that revolver doesnt have a firing pin..... so it cant shoot.....
Only faith in the emperor can shoot it… see it’s a feature if you aren’t faithful you die, if your a heretic you die…

@@TheShyOnion right got it
maybe it's some sci fi bs and it's actually a railgun
Or it has an Internal Hammer, It's rare but there are a Couple revolvers with them

That looks awesome!❤
Wow, just amazing work :)
Great work! Much better then GW´s solution.
Amazing! With starting to collect Sisters, I'd love to buy the stained glass shields
Great project!
Holy shit this looks so good! I'm jealous.
Great model!
I don't know why but the energy shields are making me think of the gungan plasma shields from starwars.
looks awesome

I tried to model the ones where they go out the side (can still use quickload) but uhh, as an Aussie I might not be gun literate
Jen what a amazing and awesome job 👏
Those look cool! Very tiny stained glass window shields.
Beautiful
For someone who claims to be a bit rusty in Blender that looked pleasingly professional.
Great process guys.
Really good design approach.
Only one thing... 14 inch screen??
17 inch minimum right???
Oh well.
Happy Modelling

Loved this video 🔥🤘❤️
You gotta check out the hgallowed sisters from archvillain games. Perfect Sisters proxies based off of the art of the game Blasphemous
1:05 why is the sentence censored? Cool video!! I love the stained glass elements!!
I would love to have the trick weapons a buddy of mine wants to get into warhammer and is thinking about the sisters but wants to customize them.

There's a playlist on the channel

It's an energy field
It's 40k. They make space rated "stained glass" for starships.
0:52 was this inspired by the fremen from dune or is this a coincidence
But with blood instead of the water from their body

yes pack stl's plz!
If you are using the laptop keyboard please lower the angle of the keyboard, or get a separate keyboard, your wrists will thank you later.
i would love more turnip28 videos. looks great by the way.
I'm no material scientist, but I'm not sure glass is the best material for a ballistic shield haha
I got unsubbed for some reason...
What happened to people actually making stuff . This is printing. It's like printing a Photoshop painting and saying you painted it.
Uhhhh, except I literally designed and made the object. In software, you know, the same as games workshop designers do before it's cast in plastic and you paint it
“this is like painting a digital painting and then saying you painted it” -you, apparently
