I love love the bright colors of fall. I tried the “neutral” thing a couple years ago and it didn’t lift my spirits or give me all the happy feels. But, to keep my bright colors looking classy, I keep things minimal and well done. Nothing cheap looking or cluttered. Around the front door is decorated, the mantle, a wreath above the stove in the kitchen, and a simple tablescape. Makes me so happy! Thanks for the tips, Jennifer! I like your ideas, too!💜
.... I also love the colours of Autumn, I like the deep reds, golds, various shades of green... I am weary of that " all neutral look " , it's so overdone. I enjoy a neutral " backdrop " but I love using colours without it looking " cheap or overdone ".... I even like that soft shade of blue for Autumn, I've used it in my kitchen, and it's lovely. My Soul and Spirit needs to nourished ,by the use of colour.... the beautiful colours of Nature do that. 😊🍁🍂

These are very nice... but I am definitely a fall color girl. But I love the burnt oranges, siennnas,wines and merlots and deep moss and hunter greens. I do love baskets and urns with pumpkins sitting on top with spanish moss. I think my home looks best in the fall. It is warm and cozy and definitely makes me happy!

Sculls and ghosts and black cats everywhere for Halloween, pillows that say hohoho, tiny snowy villages, little santas for christmas, but for fall/thanksgiving decor I really dislike the awkward lul of decorating between the 2 hollidays that people try to fill with endless gourds and orange/red leaves. I dont know why that decor just feels like I walked into a house that smells like cat pee and has couches covered in plastic lol. 😅 I would love a more detailed video like this. I want to feel intense fall but not in a yucky way and I cant figure it out. I love the idea of using the other fall colors.
Thank you, this video is great! It is very inspirational and gave me great ideas. I do love oranges and yellows but I've been looking for something new. I love decorating with flowers and greenery instead of those kitschy, plastic decorations at the big box stores. I also don't have a lot of storage space so using natural elements that can be composted and returned to the earth is what I prefer.
I love these tips. I was looking for more subtle ways to decorate which will bring me joy but not be cluttered. I don't like the idea of being too consumerist and buying all the "decor" just because it's cute. It is also costly and requires a lot of storage. I like decorating more for Christmas anyway, but love to indulge in the coziness of the autumn season!
I agree with you 95%. I only have two pumpkins out this fall, one is a small dark blue pumpkin and the other is a taupe ceramic pumpkin. I tried to do a neutral fall arrangement for the dining room table and I just wasn't feeling it. I changed it to a blue and white oriental bowl and filled it with faux off-white hydrangeas. I then inserted (sparingly) some pops of orange with a bit of greenery. My table looks so much better now. I always see the pillows that "scream" fall, and some are very pretty. And, I purchased two a couple of years ago and only used them that year. I want fall in the house but in a more subtle and "classy" way. Love your videos and thank you for the tips. 🧡💛🤎

Love the advice I agree hate clutter and Kidd decor of orange like the sticker pods hope they wouldn't carry bugs into the house .But refreshing clean lines .Love in your other video leather sofa if I was there at your would love to purchase .

I love the white velvet pumpkins that I purchased yrs ago and some muted gold acorns and pine cones on a gold tray done. Other decors are too much clutter and too farmhouse. Same with Christmas I find the less I put out the the more elegant my house looks. Great video. Thank you
There’s nothing wrong with the true colors that people enjoy outdoors in the fall foliage color. Bringing the outdoors in. Keeping it subtle is key and picking realistic foliage is important. Your comment, if it brings you joy and makes you smile, keep it!

What a refreshing change in Fall decor videos! I've been sick of farmhouse things for quite some time, and as I see all the pumpkins, etc. I just think "how common"!. I much prefer a more traditional,, understated look, and while I like to make a few decor changes at certain times, I steer clear of all the more "commercial-looking" things. It's easier and less expensive as well, as it's so much easier to swap and mix different things all year instead of having such season or holiday-specific things.
I'm tired of the signs and words everywhere. It can be tacky. A little is plenty. The worst ones are "in this house, we do this....". And another irritation is the signs that lecture you, such as " be kind....". Ugh.
