I tell ya, after sinking a big ol' 3/0 treble into my hand, while the 6 lb bass was still attached to the other, I learned quick that replacing them trebles with double hooks saves a lot of pain and grief, while not lessening hookups.
Interesting to see what people use up in Mass. Some different stuff from what we tend to use on Long Island. Will have to give a couple of these a try.
One of the best Plug bag review I seen, Thank You , I notice That you didn't list any tin lures or diamond jigs. Are these not commonly used in your area of Cape Ann ???.
A 2/0 treble as a replacement hook on the Jumpin’ Minnow seems kinda big. I’ve been using a 1/0 VMC treble based upon recommendations from my local tackle shops. I throw the 4.5 inch 1/2 ounce Jumpin’ Minnow
I find that the 1/0 are a little small for me. The 2/0 definitely take a little action away from them but it is harder for a bigger bass to bend out the hooks.
Thank you for the informative review. I believe Cape Ann is Massachusetts? I don’t have your experience but I believe fall run on NJ beaches is just beginning? Your video was very helpful. Again thanks.
Good afternoon! I want to get a 6 tube bag built by Flatlander too. Are the tubes in your bag 8 inches tall or 10.5? I just want to carry big poppers and metal lips which is why im considering asking to get the bag built with 10.5 inch tubes.
Do you ever get up to plum island? That’s my stomping ground, I want to fish cape Anne and have heard great things but also heard you can get into lineups regularly. That’s a pretty big turn off for me, do you find youre in a lineup frequently?
I fish PI in the spring. Whoever told you there are lineups on Cape Ann was lying. There are very few people that fish on Cape Ann and I will go mouths without seeing another angler.
Great Wall of plugs, lol it’s hard to figure out what to bring with out bringin everythin at least for me, and I see you have a Flatlander Surfcasters bag, they’re awesome I have my Canal bag and a back bay bag, and my surf belt… hopefully we’ll see some fall season fishing…🤙🏼🤙🏼

Very helpful, thank you
Great video Finn.
Good video. I would say for $40 more you can get the aquaskinz 6 tube bage which is better quality.
The fall run at the Jersey shore from the beach has been horrible. Even chunking. Very cool plug wall.
Thanks it has been the story of the season.

Thanks! Some guys uses them, and they defiantly catch fish. But I personally don't use them that often.

If you want to carry big plugs I would go with the biggest tubes that you can.

I’m confused- you’re saying that the fall run is already over in NY/NJ? The locals here are saying it hasn’t even kicked into full gear yet.
