Don't get mean! Grainydays does great photography. Maybe the 4x5 and 8x10 ere titanic disasters! The cost of processing, would have stopped me. dead stop. I have a shoebox of old mostly 35mm and 120 Fuji film. Tried one lab, the roll was wrecked but so was a good film. Main resson going Digital was lousy processing! Even Kodak did me some numbers! In distant past. My stull usually OK to perfect. Bravo. Soldier on!

Infrared film can give interesting, i.e., dramatic, effect. I particularly like the image at 6:50. It's tough to zero in on film with whichever infrared filter you use, then sort out a particular developer. So, you end up shooting quite a bit of film in various situations until you get a feel for its reliable use. Got to love a video where someone is actually comfortable using a Grafmatic back. I used them 30 years ago or so. They have a sequence of specific steps to use and are easy to screw up, but they are much more efficient than the old style 2-sheet holders. Nice video.

Being original in these days is not an easy task, a lot of the cool stuff that you might be able to discover in 19th century is now well, discovered, and while trying to discover new things that haven't been done before is great, there's no shame in actually doing the cool stuff somebody else has discovered way before you got born. I love the first IR landscape 4x5, seriously, that's cool af.

The guy who owned that car probably had the toilet in it because he was drinking too much Flaming Hot Cheetos Mountain Dew trying to get some big company to bring back a discontinued product. But the real beauty of it all is he never gave up hope. Well, until some violent blood-lusting desert nomads disabled his vehicle and set it (and his toilet) on fire. 🔥🚽🚗
