If you think it was just a coïncidence, not me because I'm pretty sure it Inter couldn't do it without him, and Barça would have surely kept the CL with Eto'o in the team. Honnest people know it is the truth, he was the most influenced and impactful player in the world these years. If that's coincidence, so Messi and Ronaldo won trophies by coincidence too.
Eto’o in an interview once said that Pep was “not a man”. That he would be to afraid to talk to him face to face and would have Xavi tell him that he wouldn’t be starting some games. Which is the dumbest thing Pep ever did as a manager. In desperate times he would substitute Eto’o into games only because he knew he would give him the results he wanted, and it’s funny because Zlatan says almost the same things about Pep that Eto’o does. Most notably that “he’s not a man”. You should do a video about that.
Zlatan and Eto'o are strong characters. Only respect old-school managers, not the modern therapist-type managers. Nice urbane slim suit and sweater, smooth talker, not a strong character. Witness his "Jose is the f***ing man" meltdown when Mourinho totally got under his skin while at Real Madrid.
So did Fabregas. Another strong character player. Leaders, who could have been useful generals in the dressing room but all ostracized due to Pep's insecure ego
... Pep is a winner though arguably the greatest manager ever. I don't know what you're all talking about here. Every single one of you that's say "not a man" he's man enough to be a winner in different leagues
@@dappadondadda100 I'm a big Guardiola fan, but the comments above are correct. Since I speak French (which is also the mother tongue of Etoo), I've heard him in interviews speaking about Pep, he's very harsh towards him and makes some nasty points. Indeed similar to what Ibrahimovic says (in English, you can check it out yourself). Pepe might have some weaknesses that appear here and there when dealing with some people, notably with number 9s. His vision and style of play downgrades this position, and the classic number 9s seem to have problems with that. I dunno, could also be an ego thing... but I doubt it.

Eto'o was a magnificent player. That front line Barca had in 2008-2009 of Messi, Henry and Eto'o supported by Xavi, Busquets and Ineista in midfield. Wow! Terrifying team. Eto'o a huge influence in making that team all conquering. Love that he went to Inter as part of a swap for Zlatan and did the treble there, beating Barca on the way.

His international career was huge for an African player.
Eto’o first season in Inter was a huge success although he didn’t score many goals. Because Mourinho gave him the task of being more of a winger and in a more defensive role. The target man was Milito and Eto’o sacrificed his goal numbers for the sake of Inter and it paid off as Inter won the treble. In 2010/2011, he reverted back to his natural place with the new coach, Benitez so that is why he scored so many goals that season but they failed to retain Scudetto, only winning Coppa Italia...
Eto'o, Ronaldinho, Xavi, Iniesta, Deco, Larson, Giuly, Rafa Marquez, Puyol and Valdez : what a squad ! Those guys were amazing. Magical times on the pitch.
Inter had a black friday deal by signing Eto'o, Barca gave Inter $40m + Eto'o for Zlatan. Inter went on to win the treble by knocked out Barca at the semis of the UCL while Barca sold Zlatan again in 2010...I think they sold him to Milan to punish Inter somehow :P

@Vagabond are you crazy? He scored in both finals Eto'o is a different type of player every important player
Toure yaya had some problems with Guardiola too
So did Fabregas.
99 finish
99 pace
93 dribbling
5 star weak foot
4 star skills
92 finishing
His finishing fam wowow
In reality tho
92 finishing
80-85 pace
85+ dribbling
Mohammad Fouad nah he was one of the fastest players in Barça 90-95
Yeah he was more fast than a good dribbler or the same like 86 but 94 reactivity
You ask: "Remember Eto'o?"
I say: "I can never forget Eto'o." #RealMadridFan
Eto'o was one of the best strikers I've ever seen - absolutely devastating for Real.
According to Madrid fans logic he is the best striker ever because he proved himself in different leagues and won back 2 back trebles in two different teams

There's a interview I believe which eto states that he hated Pep Guardiola with a passion.
Pep sold him simply because he don't like him. I'd hate him too

Love my home boy pichichi. Samuel Eto'o is a legend. The best 9 barca ever had 🇨🇲🔥
Ronaldo was The best 9 ;)
Eto is legend and extremely underrated at that.
Absolute Legend 👏👏👏
Eto’o is one of my favourite players of all time, extremely underrated
Eto'o was a magnificent player. That front line Barca had in 2008-2009 of Messi, Henry and Eto'o supported by Xavi, Busquets and Ineista in midfield. Wow! Terrifying team. Eto'o a huge influence in making that team all conquering. Love that he went to Inter as part of a swap for Zlatan and did the treble there, beating Barca on the way.
Legend!
I was at camp nou 2008, when Barcelona won 4-0 against sevilla. Eto'o, Henry, Xavi and iniesta scored. Crazy...good old days
Never forget.
So Freaking lucky !
soppan96, that was in 2009, I was there as well.
Before Messi, there was Eto'o. He'll never be forgotten.
I never would forget him since hes is one of my favourite football players of all time. A great player and a great person! It should be mentioned that he was the best payed player in the world for some time, when he played for Makhachkala.
I only played with inter in pes 10 as a child because of him and it was fun as hell god bless the legend!!!
I remember when i was in BISHOP MUGENDI high school, i was very clinical for the school team, they nicknamed me ETOO up to know i am a medic but still they call me etoo instead of my name Hesbon.
one of my favourite strikers, damn he was good
Eto'o was UNSTOPPABLE in his prime. I wished he didn't go to Inter he was better than Zlatan.
Messi Fan So true
Hahaha Inter Fans are glad he came though.
samuel lee i agree at all

Ronaldinho, Eto'o, Deco

Mehrdad AZ Deco and Eto’o are two legends that are underrated because of how good Ronaldinho was, they got overlooked at times
You go hell
Asheten Eco Trekking don’t wish hell on anybody, it’s a real place and people are tortured there for eternity, there’s no breaks or escape, it’s eternal torment. We all need Jesus Christ and have to accept Him. Jesus died to keep us all out of hell and died for ALL sin we would ever commit. We need to believe and Trust in Jesus
Consistently among the best three or four strikers in the world between 2004 and 2009. Great goal scoring record, strong, could link the play, brilliant technically - he was the complete striker. Absolutely world class.

Best transfer deal in history. €60 million plus Eto'o for Ibra.
Rover200Power as a Barca fan, it’s the other way around 😂😢
for inter milan, at least.
He was so underrated.
Easily 1 of the world’s best
Ghetto-🌟 he was underrated bcoz He’s black, but this nigga groomed messi and taught him most of his tricks... but look how people chant for messi. Now i am not saying that messi isn’t good, i am simply saying that when a white man does something nice its “Ureka” on the hand when it comes to black man doing the same thing is normal or nobody talks about it

This dude was scoring machine back in the days before messi took over eto'o was the best player on barcelona team alongside with ronaldinho
How can you even make video like this and tell he was forgoten ... Eto is unforgetable player , legend and sportsman...

Eto’o was a beast, wish legends like him could never get old.
You should have mentioned his Africa cup of nations victory in 2000 and 2002 when he was transitioning out of real madrid and the olympics gold medal, which are the top silverware an African team can win, along with making it to the confederations cup final in 2003. His international career was huge for an African player.
Yoooooo i forgot about this legend.
I greatly apologize for this
Best african player ever
Not really the best because George Weah tops it as the best african player
George weah was south american?
@@hueyfreeman1983 He was liberian
That's Drogba
Weah isn't as good as the ballon dor made him out to be. Coming from an African, the best African player ever is between Drogba or Etoo
This guy was really good man to me hes Barça alltime 11
A sub for this one man so emotional we're from the same country Cameron 😭😭
Hey i'm from Cameroon too
Good, now I want you to be inspired by him like I am 👍🏾
Hello from Cameroon, brother. Eto'o made us all proud!
Me too..I'm so glad we have nice people in this world like the man behind this channel.gotta love him
Eto’o first season in Inter was a huge success although he didn’t score many goals.
Did they really ask us if we remember Eto’o? You gotta be kidding me. Legends are never forgotten. That should be pretty obvious.
Thank you for packaging our Legend.
Eto'o, Ronaldinho, Xavi, Iniesta, Deco, Larson, Giuly, Rafa Marquez, Puyol and Valdez : what a squad !
Those guys were amazing.
Magical times on the pitch.
Eto’o was 3 in world ranking after Ronaldihno and Lampard , not 10th
He was 3rd for FIFA best player of the year but 10th for ballon d'or
Inter had a black friday deal by signing Eto'o, Barca gave Inter $40m + Eto'o for Zlatan.
Inter went on to win the treble by knocked out Barca at the semis of the UCL while Barca sold Zlatan again in 2010...I think they sold him to Milan to punish Inter somehow :P
Black Friday signing eto? Lol wat?

Really nicely done video about Eto´o, personally I haven't followed him, but his stats does speak for his talent and how good he really was. Interesting history and nicely edited. Keep up the good work.
