We love our RV lock. We got one on our 1st camper & have one on our current camper. It's convenient to never have to have keys. Also, when we leave our rig, we put 1 of our outdoor cameras (bought a 2 pack) inside pointed where we can see the inside temp & the camper. Makes us feel safe leaving him. Sounds similar to waggle but we already have camera so we'll probably stick with that. I love the treat box part. That's pretty neat & nifty. Maverick has always been treat oriented. The voice thing is a neat idea. We turn our channel on for Maverick when we leave so he can hear us the whole time. I've always wondered if that was weird 😂
The waggle is great, we like the piece of mind with ours too. One other thing we have that is nice is a remotely accessible RV control system. Ours is the ASA In-command and we can fire our onboard generator and turn on the climate control even if we are away. It has come in handy a few times when power has gone out on really hot days. We have had a really bad experience with Trupanion pet insurance, they do anything they can to not pay if the bills start to mount. They stuck us with over 6k in bills when our 2 year old dog was in the hospital for a couple days. We decided to self insure and just built up a savings for pet emergency's.
Great video. We travel with two large golden doodles. They eat anything they see. For that reason I try to avoid truckstops as doggie areas. There is always lots of trash on the ground at truck stops. I have found staffed rest areas, hotel parking lots (usually empty during the day when we travel),and big Box store parking lots usually better options for dogs. Also, check locally for dog hazards…foxtail weed in the Utah area supposedly can be dangerous for dogs. Florida has burrs in the sand that can lodge in their paws.
Thank you for the video as one of our worries to add to our lengthy list is "our dogs"....Great information especially on the Petco info, makes sense to have their records at one location that you can visit throughout. Excellent guitar and singing!! Nice ending. Great job!! Travel safe! Happy Thanksgiving!
I bought a BLUETTI battery and portable 5,000 ac so I can use it when off grid for my kitties. I do need a temp monitor system that will work with my cellular pep link router to track the temperature. Yes I definitely want to protect my fur babies while away.
I have been watching your videos and I wondered if you have ever considered a class A over a fifth wheel? Our pros and cons list for each is a reality and we have a dog as well. We know you have been around a lot of boondockers so am curious of your opinion on class A vs fifth wheel? Thank you!!!
We didn’t consider a class A because it wasn’t really in our price range. It’s really just personal preference. Class A has a lot of pros. Easier setup and I hear they drive great. But you’ll need a separate car as well. For us, it wasn’t in our budget and we wanted something newer.
@@karyurban590 Not sure. We picked the toy hauler so we could have a separate offices with a door between. I guess if money were no issue, and we could create that in a Class A... maybe. I like that class A's have less physical setup and more bells and whistles but knowing what I know now... IF we didn't need the separate offices for work, I think I'd go with a small Class A or super C. IF we weren't full-time, we would go WAY smaller for sure. I do love an airstream.
Thank you! All good info. If you are ever looking for video content I think a lot of us would enjoy a video on this topic. After being out there for two years and meeting people I’m sure you’ve seen a lot of different types of setups and have pros and cons especially for boondock camping. A lot of viewers want to take the plunge but feel conflicted on what to buy and some naturally want to go large because they are already majorly downsizing from a house, but end of the day we don’t want to make it so we can’t actually boondock. Loving your videos and learning about your story.
@@karyurban590we actually have this in our going fulltime online course. We talk a bit about the pros and cons of different rigs but more on a feature level. We can’t speak to living in anything other than what we have. It’s such an individual decision on comfort, budget, drive experience… we do suggest renting and testing out but that’s very expensive for most. We went to a large Rv show to sit inside and try to vision living in the unit. It helped us narrow down but it’s still hard to know until you live in it for a time. I think that’s why they say the average rver owns like 5 different rigs over time. Needs change too. I can see us downsizing when we no longer need the offices.
Waggle.. I had one,, gave it up. The annual subscription is too much. Plus it hardly ever worked correctly. My friend has the new waggle, which doesn't work right and customer service has been worthless. So.. there has to be something better. Safe travels.
That is so surprising. In over two years we have only had one location that it didn’t connect. I’ve used the customer service as well. Plus, they have great reviews online. I’m so sorry you didn’t have a good experience. I hope you find something to keep your pets safe that works better for you. Thanks for sharing your experience
Beware of pushing all adds on ur videos!!! It toke endless rv 5 yrs, overall putting out 5 , 6 videos a week to hit 100k sub. That's clearly doing it the hardest way

Yes, taking care of the pets is important. Thanks for sharing your Hugo with us. Great tips. Thanks for sharing the music, Barry... Safe travels.
Just discovered you two. Make that three - love Hugo!
Enjoying your videos.
Thanks, Hugo sends his love!

That is very cool. What type of rig do you have that has this ASA system? Curious,

That’s great advice for keeping your furry friends safe, thanks for sharing!
FYI on the Onnais RV door lock in the video information- the lock is actually cheaper on Amazon right now due to black friday deals.
Awesome! Thanks for letting us know!

We are glad it was helpful. Happy Thanksgiving to you too!
Ok first BACON 😂. Darlene where did you get that shirt? We have waggle and are a firm believer too! Great tips! Thanks! - Mike and Shelley
Hi guys! That shirt is a concert tee from the U2 Las Vegas Sphere show.
I live in Lake Havasu and I wish I would have seen this video sooner to meet you both 😢 Happy Thanksgiving 🦃
Aw, that's too bad! Maybe we'll meet up next time! We are moving fast due to all the holiday plans.
❤ Hugo!
He really is the star around here. lol

Appreciate the quick reaponse! So if budget was not as much of a concern would you go with a class A?
