  • We went on a custom cycling trip to the highest point in Thailand.

    Reaching 2565 m of altitude, Doi Inthanon is a beast of a climb featuring some gradients well above 20% for prolonged sections.
    We begin cycling on the road 1009 just 48 km from the top, attempting the same route of the popular race 'Doi Inthanon Challenge' race.

      Thank you very much, Joanna! We climbed with a 34T cassette paired with a compact 50/34 chainset. A gear ratio of 1:1 is recommended for doi Inthanon, otherwise it's hard not to put the foot down at some steep sections...
