@@madpeddler8263 on the Samoeng Loop there are sections 15% also on Doi Pui 17% plus Chiang Mai area. Are you pulling my leg ? I am sure you know this 😁

This ride was much longer, but the climbs are not as long as Doi Chang, just punchy and up & down the whole day!

Hi Russell, every Saturday 7:30 am from Shell gas station Rajapruek they do a flat ride. The first 30 km is easy, then the group splits in fast (turn right) and slow (left back to town).

@@CyclingChiangMai Hi Luis...Yes we will be back in Sept for a few months & actually while I still have a nice alloy bike there I will be looking for one for my wife so we don't have to drag hers there again this year from Hawaii. We always consider moving back permanently either to our home in Nan or back to CM because we love both 😉 We will be thinking hard this trip....Take Care & hope you have a great year with your tours!

100% recommended loop, they call it "the Classic" for a reason! clockwise direction is the easiest way :)

Thanks for your thoughts, never been to Philippines but I guess here in Northern Thailand there is also much more coffee production leading to a strong cafe culture. Re cycling, the roads and terrain are simply perfect.
