    3 Questions for Nathan:
    1.) How did you feel when viewers would complain about your narrating style in early videos?
    2.) What was your reaction when you saw thousands of viewers demanding you return to narrate new videos? (Some even going so far as threatening to unsubscribe.)
    3.) When conducting your research, which topic has completely consumed you mentally and/or emotionally? In other words, which topic have you been most obsessed with?
    C'MON DO IT!

    City No1 is called "Dwaraka". City where Lord Krishna lived. 'Kali' killed him and then started Kaliyuga i.e, the time we are living in now.
    PS: Read mahabharatha for more info.

    • @rgw7345
      @rgw7345 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      the kali yuga needs to hurry up and end

      @rahuldhage3015 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Robert Williams yea..

    • @karthikms
      @karthikms 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I second that. It is said that the next 'yuga' is "Sathya Yuga" i.e, the time of the truthful and only the righteous and noble shall live there. This starts after a great natural calamity (as always) and in the brink of it, human beings will change and become righteous.

    • @rgw7345
      @rgw7345 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Karthik Acharya it's telling that quite a few ancient legends follow a similar narrative. we will live in a time of degenerates, ruled by materialism, a horrible natural disaster will happen, and humanity will reclaim it's birthright.
      I have a feeling this has happened many times before.

    • @karthikms
      @karthikms 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      100%. Earth has already seen 4 major extinction level calamities until now in its 4.7 billion years of life time, that we know of. It will happen again and the only way we can be truthful and righteous is if we are a lot less smarter.

    "I'm Andrew Ryan and I have a question for you, is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow? The man in Washington says "No, it belongs to the poor." The man in the Vatican says "No, it belongs to god." The man in Moscow says "No, it belongs to everyone." I rejected those answers and instead I chose the impossible, I chose my city, I chose Rapture. A city where the artists wouldn't fear the censors, the the scientists wouldn't bound by petty morality, and where the great wouldn't be constrained by the insignificant. With the sweat of you brow Rapture can become you city as well" Andrew Ryan - Bathysphere - 1948.

    Reminds me of the Hancock/Carlson theories that are being considered fringe archeology. Their basic idea is (from memory so I may be off) that human advanced cultures go back further than is commonly believed. Extinction level events caused us to have to rebuild society, and the rising sea level, after the ice age, flooded the major port cities that would have been around at the time.

    You know, there's something beyond,-strange about these: they may not all be sinkages like Atlantis and Thonis-Heracleion; the sea level may instead have risen-but-since the Antarctic icecap is larger today than at that time (cf Piri Reis map), the total of water on Earth may have increased... and there are really only two sources for that...

    Number 1 lost city of India is Dwarka.....the capital city of Lord Krishna. It's establishment and submersion are mentioned in Mahabharata. Archeological Survey of India and National Institute of Oceanography are researching the lost city in Gulf of Khambhat.....another structure near India in Ram Setu mentioned in Ramayana. It's a bridge that was renamed as Adam's bridge by the British when they invaded India. It lies between Pamban Island and Rameshwaram, Tamil Nadu in India. It's so old that researchers are not able to conclusively say if it was natural or man made. (Ramayana says it was built by Lord Ram's army)

    Here in Massachusetts, we have four towns that were submerged under the Quabbin Reservior in the 1930's. Of course today, it's public knowledge that the towns were ordered abandoned for the creation of the man-made lake, and the paperwork to prove it. On a clear day, the foundations of homes can still be seen through the water. However, I wonder how long it will take when the day comes that archaeologists will question whatever happened to these "underwater cities". Of course should the aquaducts remain intact, that will hopefully answer such questions.
