See the problem is you think that it went under water. In actuality the water drained away from the city of Atlantis. Something hit the cross broke the surface the water that was filed on the land sinks with lowest point there for places that were surrounded by water would have been trained away and other places that didn't have water would have sink where the water had overflowed. A lot of stuff happened in that period. And Atlantis is in Africa. I can show you where it's at it's really simple

Look if you are looking for Atlantis then go to the Eye of Africa ( Richart) yes it's not near the Coast, but if you look at the map you can see what looks like the sea has gone inland and then drained away. The inland seas from Australia and America have all drained away so why can't it have drained away after being inundated with the water in Africa. It fits with legend about the mountains ect..there was a river which can be clearly seen.

In a thousand year's from now, when the sea levels rise again and all of our towns and cities today are submerged underwater and have rotted away.. the only thing the marine geologists will find when they dive deep, are the remnants of a Nokia 3310....Wonderful.

This is a timeless documentary. Today, some regions in our country are experiencing prolonged flooding even with light rainfalls - roads and bridges became unpassable, plains are fully covered with muddy water and some residential areas are barely recognizable. Some people began to abandon their houses and business. Probably this is just how the nature works, and probably less than a century from now, people will inhabit highland areas.

I have a similar idea of the great pyramids. I was completely amazed when I saw the movie 5th Element because I have thought the pyramids were so much more than tombs every since I was a kid (I'm 44) so long before that movie was made. I don't necessarily think a weapon but I do believe it's some kind of communication or something and we just don't understand how to turn them on. That information has been lost to time.

Depends on what answers you're looking for. Vast majority of my deepest and thought provoking questions tie into physics, space and time. We find the answers to those questions, at least hints toward answers, in the vast depths of the cosmos. But yes, the ocean is just as magnificent in many ways, and we have many brilliant minds currently working on bringing the knowledge of our planets watery depths, to the light of the waters surface. Nearly every day we find out a little more about our oceans and the treasures they hold.

Trust me if u read the earth hollow theory which was given by various scientists u will be amazed to know that they discussed about how the people are eagerly want to know what is outside the planet in space regarding not finding whats lies beneath earth crust. They say that it has two layers one is outside the earth and other is inside the ground which hold the various creatures inside but we people only believe that their is only crust filled with gas but its not. If you see various footage of ufo spotted u will se majority of them are found coming out of ocean which means they are already inside our planet 🌎 scientists believes that the rings open in certain period and when it opens it gulps all the creatures inside 😑 its scary that people don’t believe this but there is some link between aliens fr sure. If u read u will come to know that all pyramids are aligned in one point so perfectly to the imperishable star or north stars which says that it acts as a portal to the other world 😌

The Aztecs has Aztlan, the Norse has Asgard, and the Pharaohs have Atlantis,- and they all say it was somewhere out in the atlantic where their royalty came from.
Loki gave Odin his horse, and odin gave us the runes.
Osiris gave Egypt it's technology, and Thoth gave us the alphabet.
Kukulkan regeneretated the Aztecs after the apocalypse, and Huitzilopochtli stood as their eagle-headed father of war and the receiver of fallen warriors.
The aquatic Serpent being taken over/succeeded by the Eagle. It should sound familiar if you take mythology or ancient history seriously at all.
I'm telling you, - the paracas elongated skulls, pharaoh elongated skulls and eurasian steppe elongated skulls are all related, - as attested by DNA testing.
You're just living in denial by refusing to learn about the past, and this denial largely roots from the criticism of those who felt that these people were unwelcome in their lands.
There is clear evidence across the world of a people who wielded greater knowledge than the locals, and all the local wise men benefitted greatly by accepting them into their people instead of xenophobically denying them shelter.
But, if you're truly unable to comprehend this - the blue pill is probably best for your own sanity.

Thank you National Geographic for sharing this series.✌
    Just for Our sakes,
Sadly since global warming isn't taken seriously by most anyways,
    my 2 horrible questions are;
    1. "When All" the polar ice caps have melted away, how high will the oceans be by then?
    2. Which countries in every part of the world will be most affected?
Maybe you could do a segment in your Series
    - but in reverse,
as an "Eye Opener" for all. 🙏

If you want to see Atlantis, all you have to do is look at an online map (satellite view) the bottom of the Atlantic, EXACTLY where Plato said.
Due west of the Pillars of Heracles (Straights of Gibraltar), underneath the Azore Islands. You can see it plain as day.

And even if there was, why would archaelogists and governments of the world want to keep that a secret?
