    I personally don’t have a problem with the screen not being laminated. The screen is beautiful for movies, web browsing or gaming. Best investment I’ve made this year. iPad 9 is a solid device!!!!

      It’s for those who wants to use the pencil. Less parallax. This is a really great good enough device. Good base storage too, so no need to go up to the next tier. A13 is great enough, benchmark says it performs about snapdragon 888 fast in games on phones. So on a tablet even better heat dissipation, with that big metal surface.

    Those "SE" I devices are parts bin devices. Basically, they are finding uses for older parts in order to make discounted products. It's genius and it opened up Apple devices to a whole new market.

      I just started using Apple because they made a 400 iPhone and I was already ready to pay around 400 for my next phone. I would never buy Apple if my only option was a 800 phone.

      @@icarofilho6524 Same. I bought the iPad Mini 5, which was one of their first parts bin devices. Since then, I've bought the iPhone SE, a Macbook Pro, and the new iPad Mini. I just love the value proposition of some of those parts bin devices so I'll always be looking for that bang for youe buck.
      Sometimes it makes sense to splurge, like for my Macbook and new iPad Mini but I love that I have a range of options now.

      I got a Apple Watch SE and it's just awesome. Everything I was looking for. Works great in the pool! Didn't need blood oxygen sensor anyways and fro the value and keeping in the ecosystem for easy management is great. Loved the ease of the phone calls and controls from my iPhone to the watch using the watch to control and use Spotify. Like text messaging from my watch through Bluetooth to the phone. I felt like I was in the future or had James Bondesque gadgets.
      My spouse loved his iPhone SE.
      We loved the value for the money. Can't recommend SE line enough.

    I think this ipad should honestly be compared to other budget laptops in its price range. For most people who need a basic computer for email or content consumption I seriously think the ipad 9 is the better buy. Longer battery life, faster processors, lighter, apple pencil support if just 1st generation, it may not be the best ipad but it's honestly good enough. Hard to argue at $330.

The drawing experience is so precise and smooth that it feels like i’m holding a professional 2000$ graphic tablet in my hand. And the display is soooo colour accurate. My iPad still runs as smoothly as it did on the first day. Apple has an incredible and unbeatable deal to offer with those standard iPads. I went with the silver 64gb base model as it's very affordable compared to the other models. After almost 2 weeks of use and the honeymoon phase of a brand new device wore off, it still left me thinking that its a great ipad. Great resolution screen compared to to other 720p-1080p Android tablets I've owned even though it is still non-laminated, so many accessories out there since it fits the same ipad 7th and 8th gen accessories if you still own any like I do, a headphone jack that many premium tablets just don't have anymore, incredible batterylife though charging it back up to 100% still takes more time than more expensive ipads. It does everything an ipad should but at a cheaper price

    The base iPad is regularly on sale at various retailers for $300. IMHO, the base iPad is the only iPad that's worth the money. The rest are overpowered and overspec'd for a mobile OS.

    • @GeetMadan
      @GeetMadan 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Totally agree with that 💯
      I would even go as far as saying the base iPad is also too powerful for what it can do. But that only means it will be supported with newer iPadOS updates for longer.

    • @santhoshsridhar5887
      @santhoshsridhar5887 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If anything, this itself is a bit overspecced if it had a bit more RAM. A13 is basically a SD865 with a slightly weaker CPU and was cutting edge when it came out 2 years ago. It would easily beat out a 300$ laptop. And it’s display is better than quite a lot of 700-900$ laptop displays and it’s cameras are also better than most laptops out there.
      It has a pretty large battery and lasts longer than every iPad(far as I’ve seen, the 11inch m1 iPad Pro trails behind it).
      I do hope if they’re changing it up majorly by adding a laminated display with liquid retina(recently added to iPad mini and has 100% DCiP3 colour gamut), maybe a better rear camera and more ram and I guess an A14 next year, I do hope they don’t raise the price over 350$ tho I have a feeling it’d go upto 400$.
      Tho I have a feeling they’ll still stick to the same non laminated display with home button and maybe either upgrade the processor to A14 and/or upgrade the memory to 4GB.

    I love the look! It's so freakin nostalgic
    I care about bezels on my phone a lot as it's in my pocket, but I would be putting an iPad into a laptop sized compartment for travel anyway so idc about bezels. Plus I like the nostalgic look :D

    Bigger bezels are better choice for me when dropping it into any pad slots on other hardware as the screen isn’t cut off, essential on some music software. No Jelly wobble when scrolling like the mini 6, I returned mine for this reason. The mini 6 was the first iPad I wanted to return. So I did and bought the 9th, fits better into iPad slots like the JBL Partybox series of speakers with no essential touch features cut off in the software from the slot. More comfortable to hold with bigger hands too…and no Jelly wobble!!

    i just got it for my birthday a couple days ago. its AMAZING! im trying my best to make the battery life worthwhile and for that it depends on what you use. things like roblox / roblox with other background apps, could take up battery life, but editing apps such as alight motion is no problem! do I even have to say anything about how it performs? it's even beat my own pc at this point lmfao. i think that this should be enough for anybody, if necessary, go for the air! but i think that the ipad 9 is pretty capable of doing MANY tasks! the only thing you should be worrying about is which storage option you should get... lol

    Comment 1 year after I sold my ipad9 and bought it again, after change to some fancy tablet and I found IPad 9 is the one that I need. Durable, slim, light weight, about the pencil, I just bought the non sensitive non apple brand one, it works great enough for my note taking.

    Anybody using this for synth/virtual instruments or DAW companion apps? Finally pulled the trigger on a preorder from BB with the main goal of putting various VSTi's (free synth, organ, maybe other things) and to possibly run companion apps for Ableton Live or Logic Pro X, wondering if it has enough horsepower to keep up (never owned an Ipad, been using a '13 MBP for years though)

    Hello I would like to suggest a video idea. I am cut between an ipad 9 and a cheap laptop How would an ipad 9 compare to a laptop with the same price range or a little bit more.
    I want a device that is easy to carry, easy to use for editing videos, games, doing documents.
    I also want you to explain the pros and cons of each product.

    I had Samsung's flagship Tab S7+ for about a week but ultimately ended up returning it. Their hardware is top notch but Android apps for tablets are either lacking or not optimized for the tablet. I'm a big Samsung guy but ultimately I ended up with the iPad 9 and am enjoying it.

    Im planning on getting two of them, one for myself, and one for someone else, both will be 256GB ones with cellular
    My 8th gen ipad has only 32GB, and im finding that it doesn’t really have enough storage for my needs (as there is not enough storage to have movies downloaded to it for when our home internet goes down, and using my phone as a hotspot is a no go as i only have a small data plan on that phone (the plan does have unlimited calls and text messages though)
    I will be getting the cellular model so that i can have a separate data plan for the iPad, and the other person does not have a data allowance in their phone plan (they are with the same phone network, but on the tier below me, so they get unlimited calls and texts, but no data) so the cellular connection on the iPad will mean they will at least have a device they can use for the internet when our home internet goes down
    Fortunately our internet going down doesn’t happen very often, its only happened twice, the first was a thunderstorm that caused it (it blew up the router, literally, it smelt of smoke, and it no longer worked)
    The second one was when we switched providers, and something went wrong during the process, so we were without internet for about 36 hours
