To be fair it was close, and Murphy is looking at it from above. But it was still incorrect.
It wasnt wrong. It was a double bounce. Clear as day

You can look at it frame-by-frame, or 0.25x speed, or just use your eyes.

There's no "definitely" anything here. As far as I can see it came off the racquet but I could never say for sure. From the umpire's perspective I can see he can say "not up" as he is looking from above, however the horizontal camera angle allows a different perspective.

This ball was definitely up, and if It hadn’t been called, Benoit is know to lose some easy points. Either way, very very bad call.

an umpire cannot call unless they see something absolutely clear. this guy must have his eyes checked becuase it was no way a double bounce and also nowhere near a clear call. cant wait for the days when umpires are obsolete and this guy is why.. its not hard .. an umpire cannot call that for the very reason of where his viewpoint is. luckily the outcome of the point was not affected..
