The 90's car design was my favorite. Blocky(what i dont mind), simple and clean. Just look at all the BMW's, Mercedes, Hondas or well.. Look at every brand more like.
Our builds have a lot in common. Mine is an HF with a b16. Everything from building a plywood rear floor so we can haul anything we want, to spraying some of the fabric with fabric paint. I also wanted to keep full interior and go for that resto-mod look. I am running several factory parts from other cars like my accord ac/heat controls and ek(not sure what model) cluster that to people that don't know probably assume its all factory. My plan for my car has always been boost I just have too many hobbies and priorities and the car is a little on the back burner. Just using it as much as I can on nice days and when I don't have the kids. I'm also shooting an overall video talking about my build I'm just being overly picky about it and trying to do it mini doc style and make it really nice and I've been dragging my feet to finish it. Just wanna have something really nice to remember the car by if I ever end up selling it.
I have an HF as well, I’m on the same boat as you. Wanting to do some stuff to it and document it. Can’t decide on what block though, b16 or a K series. Hit me up if you ever end up deciding to let go of yours...I’m definitely the kind of guy who would baby it 😂
Thank you for sharing this. Hearing the stories behind this car from it being filled with shredder paper to the roof and seeing it run is still down right amazing. Now that you have elaborated on all the geek shit, no one cares where you got your shift nob, run the car brother! You did your diligence.

I am starting an 8th gen build with a k20a3 head with a k24 bottom end (not going to fully build, looking to make about 280-320hp). What do you think would be the most efficient for that?
The color 100% was inspired no questions asked. Absolutely LOVE Wayne’s car! If you check out some of my more recent videos you will see she sort of changed a bit over the years but the color stands strong!

I loved the restoration sincerely good wishes with the project, the only thing that worries me is the wastegate is very close to the radiator, does it complicate it?

Amazing paint work - both exterior and valve cover.
Greatly appreciate that, at first the valve cover bothered me a little after I painted it but it’s grown on me now.

manuel velazquez nah, it’s actually pretty clear of it. The dump tube off the waste gate and down pipe are quite close. Both are wrapped
