- We bring back the ebay turbo Single Cam CRX For another dyno session on it's new Precision 6262 Turbocharger. The car made 500HP last time on it's D16Z6 turbo power plant and we push it to the limit to see how much power we can squeeze out.

The Ultimate Underdog, CRX with a D Series!!! It’s my favorite for sure. Humble Performance needs to have the title for highest horsepower D series... FTW!!! Get after it and show them what you guys can really do! Take the gloves off! That’s a challenge!

Thats how you build a CRX, the turbo d16z6 was the original plan for my CRX but I have something else up my sleeve now!!

That’s insane! Im currently in the process of boosting my del sol D16Z6 trying to do the internals first had pretty much the same idea as you guys the precision 6262 is a must but how long will this build last on stock crank and sleeves?

What fuel is the car on? Is the trans cable still or hydro? I’m trying to copy this build so I gotta know.
Wont matter if its cable or hydro...i would go straight to billet pistons if i was you and pull more power then this..hes on cast pistons...vitara s u can get ycp pistons for like 150$ but will need to start over once you find their limit!!cyl walls are pretty thick i could bet it can reach 700 stock crank and sleeves

I just bought a 1986 crx Si and it's a little broken down, it just needs a new Engine wire harness to run but I dont have an idea where to get one, I'm trying to fix it up so I can put a turbo in it as well!! And it's also red just like yours! Please help

Supposedly stock sleeves so probably be dead in a year or 2 if hes lucky with 500hp from a crack sleeve But on the bright side single cams are cheap and very easy to swap out.

This car is so nice and makes some good jam whish my hatch looked half that good that's my end goal in hp also 500
You can make a rusty hatch look just as good if it's got the typical rusted quarters that most hatches get.. You can shop a round and find the rear quarters for like 250.00 a side and if you know someone that can weld boom your set cut the old ones up and weld the new ones in but definitely rustolem everything behind the quarter.
@@mikenite69 my quarters aren't rusted but my door is dinged my roof and hood have waves and paint is crap lol

Was that precision 6262 ball bearing or journal bearing? What is y’alls experience with the ball bearing precision turbos?

In my opinion for #4 pounds of boost and SAVING 850 dollars difference from the ebay to the precision I'll take the ebay...and with the savings I'll definitely buy a better cam like a bisimoto cam etc to me is not worth the 1000 for loosing only 4 pounds and I'll get a better clutch that's for sure again i say this cause is a budget build and and almost same results mind you the clutch needs fixing. Great budget and build.
That 4# of boost causes more strain and will cost you more money long term.
That eBay turbo will last a fraction of the time that the precision turbo will. Have fun cleaning up the oil when the eBay seals go out
Ebay turbos can last a long time they are just inefficient and don't typically measure out to be the size they are sold as.
