- Here's another (hopefully) helpful court reporting video! Today I am showing you what is exactly in my work bag along with my machine, and I also go into my deposition setup. I love having a minimal setup and tools to help me during my job. Let me know if you have any questions :)

This video is so helpful! In school, do they typically go over what you need to do in court, or is schooling just learning to type?
At my school we take a depo course & court course for 6 weeks. You learn on the job tips mainly from sitting out with real reporters.

How often do you have to do read backs ? I was talking to a court reporter and she said she hates her job because lawyers try to embarrass her with read backs? I had never heard this from anyone so I was wanting to hear your opinion on this
