I respect him as a man.
I even respect him as a player. Hell, he's a phenomenal player! But what I don't respect and have GREAT disdain for, is this subculture of fanboys within his fanbase, that we affectionately refer to as "the bronsexuals".
They are who I GREATLY detest and despise.
Because they constantly disrespect the integrity and history of the game when attempting to elevate LBJ in stature. And they've polluted the online b-ball community with this type of toxicity.
And that's what I just can't respect and rock with at all...

If that. He's not a great mid range shooter, not a great three point shooter, a bad free throw shooter, not a great defensive player, not a great ball handler, doesn't make his teammates better, and for anyone who says he's so great all around, he averages 7 assists and 7 rebounds for his career which is good but not great for someone his size and with the amount of time he has the ball. As a 37 year old who has watched hoops since I was too young to remember, I believe Lebron is the most overrated athlete of all time. He is nowhere near the greatest to play this game.

In my eyes based on what they did and how they did it:
    1. MJ
    2. Kob
    3. Larry Legend
The deadliest 3 guys that ever step on hardwood. There is nothing those 3 could not do. For small foward position... Bird...all day long, every day, without a second thought.... and if i need a shoot made, from anywhere... Bird gonna make it and make sure everybody know about it 😎

Bird, McHale, Worthy, Barkley, Malone, are the best forwards of the 80s decade in my opinion, Dominique just barely misses that top 5 list but is number 6 for sure ...
Note: I didn't have Julius on the list because he retired in 87, and the list is for the whole decade, he would have been top 5 for the 70s decade for sure.

They don't hate the way LeBron won his championships , they hate the fact that he did it and won... They would have preferred him to stay in Cleveland losing every year so they could talk shit like they been doing his entire career. You can't compare anyone's careers to LeBron's before or after Miami.

  • @timraschke2915

    You're spot on.
My biggest beef about LeBron is his game. His offense is about driving the lane or chucking up shots and fishing the rock. Defensively, it's almost non-existent: let alone winning a defensive title.
Offensively, he is still filling up the stats. What is omitted, is his walking around, not being engaged, flopping, complaining, and turning the ball over.
This is not hate. Nothing I've stated is about the person or about how he works behind the scenes.

False about the 2nd stint in cle he did do almost the same thing what he did when he went from cle to miami, he was at a concert and said he was coming home, and then all of a sudden there is that music by that chick I forget her name was saying I'm coming home, tell the world that I'm home, and there was magazines saying he was going back to Cleveland. Lediddler has always been a horrible human being.

I say 10-15. You cant rank someone high enough when he recruited prime players to win. Its competition to beat the best, not recruit to play with you in their prime. When he retires, his ranking will drop even more, just watch.

Whatever guy that doesn't respect how LeBron won his championships didn't have a Boston Celtics built the year after reaching the finals. LeBron played them in the playoffs four times. Whatever guy didn't have to go against the Spurs in the finals three times who was already a three time Champion when LeBron was drafted.

That decision was nasty work. LeBron move nasty as hell. They will say but Jordan’s perfect. Not knowing how Jordan used to get flamed up before he won a championship. He just kept winning chips so you couldn’t criticize him as much. That’s like criticizing Patrick mahomes as a qb right now. It’s not much you can say

Dr J has never changed his top 5 all time favorite players. He says those were the guys he grew up watching.
I'm _not sure_ if those are the same players he has as his all time starting five. It might be slightly different, because
that one is dictated by position played. But in both cases, Julius went with the much older generation of players.

  • @kcart3548

You mention everything that makes me dislike LBJ. He lacks character, integrity and humility. He’s not on any team I would put together. There are so many more worthy players. He is not a winner at heart. He only thinks that he should win and will manipulate matters to try to achieve it. He has never drawn from that well within his own heart to overcome any odds. Just conspire and form a super team. Disgusting from a sports purity perspective. I’m glad that you acknowledged Isiah Thomas as an all time pg. He honestly doesn’t get enough love. The first Smiling Assassin… dude was the dawg that every team needs. A proven winner who drew from the well in his heart to overcome Magic and Bird. He wanted the smoke. Not afraid of the grind. Master orchestrator who would take over games. Just a little killer.

I love Magic & have him as the greatest PG, but for this team, I need more perimeter shooting. Jordan could've been a great PG if that's what his game needed to be. I would love to see MJ, Kobe, & Bird just mentally annihilate everyone. 😂 Not to mention, 3 of the clutchest players ever?! Shoooooooooooooot....
The backcourt could play mid, perimeter, or cut as needed, but imagine Hakeem & Kareem in the paint. Hakeem's defense & footwork? Kareem's skyhook & defense? Man, please. 😂
