I don't remember how many pairs of Jeans I bought and donated over the years, from main stream trendy brands to mid-tier to designer brands. There was always something not right or not comfortable. It is so hard to get it right. Finally, I found my best fit-high waisted boot cut jeans -at a surprising place- Walmart -time and true. It is so comfortable and flattering on me. It looks expensive and polished. I couldn't believe it. Now I have four different pairs and those are all the Jeans I have. I found for Jeans, designer brand doesn't guarantee fit or attractiveness. There is quality difference between main stream brands and designer brands, but not that significant.
Ima wide leg boot cut high waisted girl. Inverted triangle never skinny jeans But I prefer a medium wash, but I don't wash every time I wear them. Cold water never dry.😊
I have the hardest time finding jeans! I’m 40 years old with an hourglass figure 5’5” 160#. The usual problem is having to size up to fit my thighs then huge waste gap. I’ve had the best luck with Kut jeans and recently found a surprise pair at Banana republic in the low rise straight jean. I’m going to try Good American! I’ve tried the Frame and Agolde jeans and haven’’t had success. Not a universal fit for me anyways. Even harder to find is jean shorts! I need to give up and switch to dresses and skirts but I don’t like feeling dressy all the time! Thanks for your fantastic vids as usual. Learned so much from you!
Thanks for your comment Sarah! Finding your perfect jeans can take a bit of trial and error. My curvy clients that have faced the same challenge as you, have loved Good American. Let me know how they work for you.❤
Hi Erica, a bit off topic maybe, but I want to thank you 🙏 first off I find your videos ever so helpful. Thanks to you I feel confident on starting my classy/edgy capsule wardrobe. Secondly, through one of your videos I found out about the brand Theory. It isn't a common brand in my country. I looked it up and saw I could never afford it. Not even on sale 😅 But today I went thrifting for my capsule wardrobe. And I found this mint condition lamb leather jacket from Theory from a fraction of the price (maybe 4% of it's original price). Don't mean to brag. But I'm so over the moon happy. Without you I wouldn't know what hidden gem I found today 🤍
Yay! I love that you feel confident about building a wardrobe you love. Thank you for taking the time to write this comment. It makes me so happy to know my videos have helped you Sylvia ❤ Enjoy your leather jacket!
Whom ever invented wide legged jeans must hate women. No one looks good in them. I won't event comment on barrel legs, haha. Straight legs are the most classic and most flattering. This is a helpful post.
Thanks for your question Racquel! Bootleg jeans are great for inverted triangles and rectangle shapes but can also work for a lot of other shapes too. What I recommend is that the jeans are more slim through the thigh. Hope that helps 😊
I think that's right Karyn! There are so many different style names out there and not a lot of explanation. The bf jean is on the straight side with a much more baggy relaxed fit than the straight leg jean 😉

I've found the best selection of bras at Walmart. I'm going to check out their jeans.

What body type suits bootleg jeans may I ask?

The "boyfriend" jean is actually more "staight" looking than the so-called " straight leg"...🙃
