    Went to install my backrest today and found that no installation instructions were included. Instead, a piece of paper with a link to the instructions was all I found. Went to the link, but couldn’t find anything. Finished the installation today, along with the comfort block, by just watching Max’s video. Thanks! Now I’m off to install all of the other gizmos I recently received. Cya on the road!

    I bought the Honda Backrest from Honda and it had "o" instuctions. Nothing! Without your video it would not have been possible to get it together. Thank you so much!

      Glad it helped! You can find the printed instructions at hondalineaccessories.com and then go to the item, and then print them out.

    Oh and in case you may think that the rubber nipple may not be so secure anymore, try it...youll be amazed. I've been using that technique for many years. And even when you come across a rubber part with those nipples which you want to remove..most people simply tug away at it and invariably some of the nipples break off, even in that case, before attempting to remove, simply spray a squirt of the silicone spray on the protruding nipple and see how easy it is to remove.

    Nicely done. I find it odd that Honda doesn’t supply a watershield gasket to fit where the decorative cover was. Seems to me that if you are not careful where you place aftermarket electrics under the seat, they could be compromised by water getting in there. What’s your take on that, Max?

      Water will find it's way into every nook and cranny at 60-70mph, so I don't think you can hide from it. That's why proper waterproof connections all over the bike are so important.

    Hey Mac, I'm looking for the red trim pieces and ring that go on the front controls of the 2020 black DCT models. Can't find'em anywhere. Thanks...

    Is there an easy way to quick detach the backrest?

      Not that I know of.

    Do you like the Hondaline backrest better than the Utopia?

    • @Traxxion
      @Traxxion  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'd say that's personal preference. The Hondaline one is more sleek and minimal, and looks like Honda put it there. The Utopia one is much larger, and looks like an aftermarket part... if you know what I mean. The #1 reason people choose Utopia over Honda is the pouch on the back of the pillow part for the wife to put her stuff in.

    Utopia or Honda is more comfortable? I don't care about pouch .

    • @Traxxion
      @Traxxion  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think Utopia is more comfortable, it is bigger and softer. If you are 5'9" or shorter, and not very heavy, the Honda one works great. The Honda looks MUCH better.

    Ive watched a few of your videos and you come across as a perfectionist. I am an incurable one myself. Wherever you find rubber nipples which secure a part into a hole simply spray a squirt of SILICONE SPRAY onto the rubber nipple ( 'tits' i think you called them in the video) Silicone Spray is relatively cheap at any auto spares outlet and can make your life much more easier. Fitting the rubber grommet in using a needle nosed plier to pull as well as prying it off becomes a breeze. Just saying. Thanks

    Another professional install, what took you 12 minutes/ 41 seconds would have taken me an hour (plus). 😃
