thanks so much for the lecture!
I didn't quite understand the tetramer fluorescent method for quantifying T-cells. why do the MHC molecules have to be in tetramer form to interact with the T-cell receptors?

The content is gr8. It wud be better if the slides were up on the screen while you were talking about them. It is difficult to relate without the slide.

In the Class-II locus, each person inherits a couple of genes HLA-DP (DPA1 and DPA2, which encode α and β chains), a couple of genes HLA-DQ (DQA1 and DQA2, for α and β chains), one gene HLA-DRα (DRA1) and one or two genes HLA-DRβ (DRB1 and DRB3, -4 o -5). That means that one heterozygous individual can inherit 6 or 8 Class-II alleles, three or four from each progenitor. (wikipedia)

I wish camera man would be a little more intelligent; how hard is it to guess that when speaker is turned to the slide and describing it, pointing to it, you need to show this slide and not a speaker's profile?

isn't there should be 12 different types of DP DQ and DR expressing at any given time on MHC type 2 cells? In lecture Dr Harris said 6 different types.

3 from each parent, you will also only pass half to your kids.

Damn, so the camera dude couldn't have 2 cameras one focused on the slides and one on prof (since he loves him so much), and then upload a video of both?
