I saw the opening ceremony before the shutdown by TH-cam. It was an extravagant show --- not just a regional show but a show on an Olympics scale --- with an army of performers with a lot of ancient themes, a 3D Godzilla size digital rendering of a runner, but no fireworks, which got me curious as to why China didn't do the 2022 Olympics show on this grand scale when the whole world was tuning in.

Winter Olympic opening ceremony was boycotted by many western MSM, their live stream only show you a stadium. They refuse to broadcast what is happening inside the stadium.

2 days ago, I was surprised to see one of cnn channel uploaded a video about Asian Games opening in China. I was even more surprised because they didn't say any bad things in the title of the video.
And after I watch from the beginning to the end, I was even-even more surprised, because I was waiting to hear *"But at what cost?"* , but I couldn't find it.
So I asked them, "what happened to your usual hilarious 'but at what cost?' remark? Did you forget it or what?"
Yesterday when I checked if they replied or not, I found they disabled the comment section and make the video inaccessible from my place.

Viewed the only full coverage of the opening ceremony including the various teams walking on stage (coverage time about 2 hours or more) presented by cctv on TH-cam the first day before it was taken off
Even the teams intro were fun to watch accompanied by dancers and soothing music
