It was a pretty even game up till Trump decided to go for the face in stead of trying to clear. Granted, at the point, going for the face was certainly his only way to win... and it was certainly luck based (in trump's favour)
Well, the Argent Protectors basically denied him his chance at board control.
Last game was the best game ever.

2 cards, forgot that Argent Commander was not going to help because the Taunt minion.

Trump is so lucky. If I tried to use this deck, I would probably end up never drawing a 2 or 3 for the entire run.
Saying ''trump is so lucky'' is just a way for you to justify you not doing as good as him, that being said his draws for all but like 2 or 3 games were ridiculously good considering the odds. Also that ending was ridiculous and the rewards too! 3 great packs and like 400+ gold.
blackops8121 . I had my most epic comeback KO yesterday. I took board control against a pally at 2 health while he was at 25. Then he wanted to finish me off with his last card, a truesilver champion, only to be deflected on my ice block. My minions did 26 dmg (a giant, 2 enraged creatures and something else) and I could finish him with a fireblast.
that last game was the most spectacular game I've ever seen in Hearthstone from start to finish, an absolute classic.
Went 12-0 for the first time last night. The entire run I was thinking: what would trump draft here? what would trump do here? Avoid consecrate/holy nova/blizzard/flamestrike taking everything. Thanks trump for all the help and great commentary while you draft/play!!

I personaly like the more lategame-ish decks , because if you are able to stale mate the early game with a couple of decen creatures or spells , you will most likely win with the super-mega-cool late game cards

If the paladin would have killed the Lightspawn instead, he would have won. Then he could have used the Argent Protector to kill the Rocketeer the next turn and attacked face with the giant. Also, if Trump would have drawn a Power Word: Shield the next turn, he would have lethal with the Lightspawn, but not with the Rocketeer. I can't think of any situation where this play was better!
That play was perplexing to say the least. The only thing taking out that target over the Lightspawn played around was youthful brewmaster, as opposed to multiple health buffs available to Priest. Trump deserved to win against such a bad player, and RNGsus rewarded him!
That last out was one of the most genius plays I've ever witnessed.

The more impressive play, to me, is when he healed his light spawn from 4/4 to 5/5, putting the opponent at 2 instead of 3. I'm not sure I would have thought of that. Thanks, Trump, good foresight.

I needed this vid. I suck with the priest and have no idea how to draft with them. The last arena run I did with him only had 2 wins lol.
As a Priest you need a good early game or else you just flat out lose. So Power Word Shields and Shadow Word Pain really helps plus also minions that trade efficiently.
Please no. We don't need any more priests running around in their diapers and shitting all over arena.

Actually, his chance of winning is quite high. The nerd in me computed his probability of winning after the Lord of the Arena (LoTA) play:
He'll only lose if he: 1) drew argent commander (AC) 2) drew mind control tech (MCT) and did not control LotA 3) drew northshire (NS) or power word shield (PWS) and eventually #1 or #2 occurred.
Chance of losing:
1) AC = 1/7
2) MCT = 1/7 x 5/6
3) NS/PWS then AC = 1/7 x 1/6 x 2
4) NS/PWS then MCT = 1/7 x 1/6 x 5/6 x 2
5) NS then PWS then AC or PWS then NS then AC = 1/7 x 1/6 x 1/5 x 2
6) NS then PWS then MCT or PWS then NS then MCT = 1/7 x 1/6 x 1/5 x 5/6 x 2
Total: 36.67%
His chance of winning is actually 63.33%. Still a pretty good chance.
I came to a different conclusion. According to my calculations he would win with a probability of (3 + 1/7 + 2/6)/7 ≈ 49.66%.
Since PWS is a cycle, you could pretend it doesn't exist it in the calculations. Trump could only win if he: 1) drew SWD/HN 2) drew MCT and got LotA 3) drew NS and then HN.
Chance of winning:
1) PWD+2*HN = 3/7
2) MCT and getting LotA = 1/7*1/7
3) NS drawing HN = 1/7*2/6
Total: 49.66%
Details I believe you missed: SWD/MCT not winning after NS and, most importantly, the existence of Prophet Velen(!).

Was 11-0 then ran into 2 Mages. Barely lost to them both, then dominated a Rogue for my third game. He gave up after I drew 5 cards with Cult Master leaving him with no cards.

It wasn't actually that unlikely to topdeck that last game, I did that math for you: After drawing the Jungle Panther (Knowing he will play the lord of the arena) you had a 107/180(about 60%) chance of winning. After drawing the Powerword shield, you odds remained at that 107/180 and after drawing the cleric your odds dropped to 40%, but as it turns out, it was enough!

if u look at the last moment, he first has 3/9 then 3/8 chances of winning, not to mention there is 2 card draw chance which results in almost 60% (not including them card draws which increase the chance as well) so i think he deserve the final win rather than mentioning it all on pure luck.

Wow that top deck!! I tried a very similar trick once. My opponent had a enraged Grommosh Hellscream. I was at 16 or 18 health (can't quite remember). I knew i had two shadow word Death in my deck. I drew a Northshire. Heal Grommosh, and drew a useless minion. I was hit for 10+ damage and was left with minimum health.My next turn draw was the Shadow Word Death that i needed the previous turn.....

Randuin Wrynn please. If a card with an RNG based effect appears, you must take it. Otherwise, you can take whatever card you'd usually pick. Just do what you want to do, its just a suggestion.
