Can’t help but shake your head at the Iowa state anchor. I get that Yared is a phenomenal miler and there’s a difference in talent and all that but it seemed like he ran a very poor leg. His teammates set him up so well and he let the entire lead go in the first 800
MrFuzzySalt he wasn’t the only one running on tired legs. On that kind of stage you can’t make excuses. Not throwing shade at the kid, but felt like he could have run a much smarter race.
Apple Pi uh maybe take it out harder so the national champ doesn’t catch up to you as soon as possible. Not saying the outcome would have changed be he could have made it more difficult for Yared.
@@nikz9735 I agree it's not crazy, but a 4:08 is still a 4:08... they just dont have the level of athletes that Notre dame and Stanford have that's all....

That anchor had no business running a 1,600. Did he know it was a race or did he think this was a warm up? He not only lost a 50m lead that his teammates worked so hard to get he fell back to 5th and didn't even appear to be putting out..
Awesome Adam That may be true but you could tell he wasn’t really putting out the first couple of laps. Even though his first 800 was a 2:02.. it looked like he could have put out more. Looked like he was just jogging.
Awesome Adam He only put out at the end when he realized the other guys weren’t gonna just give up and fight for second. Even though his first 800 was a 2:02.. it still looked like he could’ve gone harder without burning out and having nothing in the tank for the last 400. Just my opinion

Don’t tell us the winner in the title.
Thank you!

it’s stupid how y’all get mad that the ncaa puts the winner in the title, but when NBC Sports does it no one gets mad.. like cmon
Goat Brxdy what do you mean? Everyone still gets mad. The comments are the same
DON'T PUT THE WINNER IN THE TITLE.!!!!!!!
Iowa needs to get rid of that anchor.
They don't have anyone better
They burned out their other milers in earlier races.
He still ran a 4:04.

Iowa State ran the worst anchor leg I've ever seen... That just sucks. Jogging the whole time.?? Guess that dude just didn't have the legs for 1600m
He ran like a 4:08, he just wasnt fast enough to stack up to fishers 3:53 or Notre dame's runner
